membuat tanda tanya besar. Yap, pertanyaannya adalah kenapa tiba-tiba bersikap
tidak seperti biasanya. Ketika rutinan tiap pekan ketemu di suatu majelis ilmu,
kehadirannya rutin, kemudian tiba-tiba menghilang dari peredaran, kenapa kamu
berbeda? Yang sebelumnya rajin sholat dhuha berjamaah dipagi hari, tiba-tiba
enggan ikut, datangpun sudah siang, sudah termasuk kategori terlambat, kenapa
kamu berbeda dari sebelumnya?
Sebelumnya ketika rapat semangat
berkobar-kobar, menggebu-gebu, paling kencang berpendapat namun kenapa sekarang
loyo, serasa kehilangan energi, kenapa kamu berbeda? Nah, jangan-jangan semua
motivasi dari aktivitasmu adalah palsu. Motif yang mudah pudar dan akhirnya
hilang.
bukan semata-mata motif palsu. Coba jelaskan, kenapa kamu sekarang bersikap
berbeda?
Kenapa kamu berbeda?
prasangka buruk. So, jelaskan kejadian yang sebenarnya. Siapa tahu aku menjadi
mengerti dan memahaminya.
Wahai teman, perubahan sikap
Bagaimana Engkau
Menjelaskannya, Itu Penentu
sehingga hubungan antar tim kembali cair.
merugikan kepentingan orang lain.
Rasa Tertekan, Semakin Ditekan
Semakin memberontak
Jangan sampai tindakan seorang
Teks Geyser, Explanation text
Penjelasan tentang Geyser
Berikut teks explanation tentang geyser:
Text 1 Explanation
How A Geyser Forms
A geyser field is usually located
in an area where there has been recent volcanic activity. There can be hundreds
of geysers in a geyser field. Their positions depend on the system of channels
underground.
Cold surface water seeps
underground. It flows through cracks in nonporous rock (rock that does not soak
up water). The water is heated by hot rock, and it begins to expand and boil. Water
at the top boils of or spills over. This reduces the pressure and causes deeper
water to boil much more violently, creating jets of steam and fountains of hot
water.
note:
Explanation text is

Very long time ago in West Java,
there lived a king, named Prabu Sungging Pabangkara. He was good ruler. He
liked hunting in the forest very much
In the forest, there lived she-pig,
actually a cursed goddess. One day, she came out of her hiding
place looking for water. There she saw a coconut shell filled
with water. Expecting it to be a fresh water, she drank it,
having no suspicious that it was king’s urine left there the day
before when he went hunting.
The consequence was very strange.
She became pregnant. Few months later she gave birth to a very pretty girl.
When the king was hunting again in the forest, he saw the girl and was
attracted by her beauty. He took her to his place, and then he
called her Dayang Sumbi and treated her as his own daughter. Time
passed and Dayang Sumbi grew up into a beautiful girl. She was fond of weaving.
One morning as she was weaving, her
weaving spool flew out of the window to the field. Because she was very tired,
she mumbled, whoever is willing to help me pick up the spool.
I’ll treat her as my sister if she is a girl. If he is a man, I’ll treat him as
my husband. These words were heard by a dog, called Tumang,
actually cursed god too. He immediately picked up the spool and
gave it to Dayang Sumbi. Seeing the dog had helped her, she fainted. The god
had decided for her to undergo the fate. She became pregnant and
a short time afterwards she gave birth to healthy strong son whom she called
Sangkuriang.
Sangkuriang became a handsome young
man, as time went by. Likes his grandfather, he was fond of
hunting in the forest and Tumang was faithful friend when roaming the woods. He
didn’t realize that Tumang was his father. One day, when the dog
didn’t obey him to chase the pig, Sangkuriang was very angry and killed
the dog and cut up his flesh into pieces and took it home to his mother. For a
moment Dayang Sumbi was speechless and took a spool and flung it
at him.
This left a scar on the spot. Then
Dayang Sumbi sent him away. Sangkuriang left and wandered through
the woods. He walked for years. Finally he returned to his native place, but
did not recognize it any longer. At the end of a vast rice field,
he noticed a house and saw a young girl sitting at her weaving-loom. He
approached her and was charmed by her beauty. He was unaware that
she was his own mother. Dayang Sumbi had been given eternal beauty by the gods
which was why she looked young forever. She looked at him and
noticing his good looks, she promised to marry him.

Seeking at The Great Wall
ReplyDeleteThere was a young man, named Wan Hsi-liang, among those who had been pressed into the service of building Emperor Shih Huang’s Great Wall. Wan Hsi-liang had a beautiful and virtuous wife, whose name was Meng Chiang-nu. For a long, long time after her husband was forced to leave her, Meng Chiang-nu had no news of him. Her hatred of the wicked ruler grew apace with her longing for the husband.
But even as the seasons changed, there still was no news about Wan Hsi-liang. It was rumored that the Great Wall was being built somewhere way up north where it was so cold that one could hardly dare stick one’s hands out of one’s sleeves. When Meng Chiang-nu heard this, she hurriedly made cotton-padded clothes and shoes for her husband. But who should take these to him when it was such a long way to the Great Wall? Pondering the matter over and over, she finally decided she would take the clothes and shoes to Wan Hsi-liang herself.
It was cold when Meng Chiang-nu started out and very lonely for her to walk by herself. One evening, she failed to reach the town she was going to, so she spent the night in a little temple in a grove beside the road. Having walked the whole day, she was very tired and fell asleep as soon as she lay down on a stone table. She dreamed her husband was coming towards her and a feeling of great happiness enveloped her. But then he told her that he had died and she cried bitterly. When she woke in the morning, she was overwhelmed by doubts and sadness as she remembered this dream. With curses on the emperor, Meng Chiang-nu continued on her journey.
Meng Chiang-nu walked on until, one day, she came to a deep valley between the mountain. She walked a long time through the valley without finding a single house. All she could see were weeds, brambles and rocks. It was getting so dark that she could no longer see the road. She decided to spend the night among some bushes. As she had not eaten anything for the whole day, she shivered all the more violently in the cold. Thinking of how her husband must be suffering in the icy cold weather, her heart contracted with a pain as sharp as a knife. When Meng Chiang-nu opened her eyes the next morning, she found to her amazement that the whole valley and her own body were covered in a blanket of snow. How was she to continue her journey?
While she was still at a loss as to what to do, a crow suddenly alighted before her. It cawed twice and flew on a short distance, then sat down again in front of her and cawed again twice. Meng Chiang-nu decided that the bird was inviting her to follow its direction and so she resumed her travel, a little cheered because of the company of this living creature. And so, she walked on passing mountain ranges and crossing big rivers and small streams.
Many dreary days had passed before Meng Chiang-nu at last reached the Great Wall. She walked along the Great Wall, trying to find her husband among those who were toiling there. She asked after her husband, but nobody knew anything about him. Her anguish over her husband’s unknown fate increased and she shed many bitter tears as she continued her search.
ReplyDeleteAt last, she learned the sad truth. Her husband had died long ago because of the unbearably hard toil, and his body had been put underground where he fell, under the Great Wall. Hearing this tragic news, Meng Chiang-nu fell into a swoon. Some of the builders tried to revive her, but it was a long while before she regained consciousness. When she did, she burst into a flood of tears for several days. Many of the toilers wept with her. So bitter was her lament that, suddenly, a length of over two hundred miles of the Great Wall came crumbling down while a violent storm the sand and bricks whirl about in the air.
“It was Meng Chiang-nu who, by her tears, caused the Great Wall to crumble!” the people along the edifice told one another with amazement. At the same time, they were filled with hatred of the cruel emperor who caused nothing, but misery to his subjects.
When the emperor heard how Meng Chiang-nu had brought part of his Great Wall down, he immediately went to see for himself what sort of person she was. He found that she was as beautiful as a fairy, so he asked her to become his wife. Meng Chiang-nu, who hated him so deeply for his cruel ways, would of course not consent to his. But she felt a ruse would serve her purpose better than frankness, so she answered: “Yes, I will, if you do three things for me. The first is that you bury my husband in a golden coffin with a silver lid on it; the second is that all your ministers and generals go into mourning for my husband and attend his funeral; the third is that you attend his funeral yourself, wearing deep mourning clothes as your own son would do.”
Being so taken with her beauty, the emperor consented to her requests at once. Everything was, therefore, arranged accordingly. But when Meng Chiang-nu saw her husband properly buried, she cried bitterly for a long time. Then, all of a sudden, she jumped into the river that flowed close by the tomb. The emperor was infuriated at being thwarted in his desires. He ordered his attendants to pull her out of the water again. But before they could seize her, Meng Chiang-nu had turned into a beautiful, silvery fish and swam gracefully out of sight deep down into the green-blue water.
Princess Laiamon and Crocodile – Folktale from Kalimantan Indonesia
ReplyDeleteLaiamon was the daughter of Dayak chief. One day, she went to the river to take a bath. She was swimming when a crocodile held her leg.
“Oh, please don’t eat me!” cried Laiamon.
“Hohoho!” laughed the crocodile. “I won’t let you go. I like eating pretty girls very much.”
Laiamon was aclever girl. She then said, “My father is a chief. He is a rich man. He will give you anything you want if you set me free.”
“Is it?” asked the crocodile.
“Yes,” replied princess Laiamon.
“OK,” said the crocodile, “tell your father to give me a baby to eat every day.”
The crocodile let Laiamon go. Quickly, Laiamon swam to the river bank and went home. She told what she had experienced to her father. Her father then called his people to discuss what the crocodile had asked.
The next day, the chief and his people went to the river. They bought a pig for the crocodile.
“Good morning, Crocodile,” said the chief.
“Do you bring a baby for me?” asked the crocodile.
“We have no babies in the village,” said the chief, “we can only give you a pig this time.”
“Don’t lie to me!” the crocodile shanted.
“Of course not. If there is a baby in the village, we will bring it to you. Now, please take this pig.”
“All right,” said the crocodile.
The chief threw the pig into the river. The crocodile quickly ate the pig.
“Hmmm, it’s very delicious!” said the crocodile. Not long after that, this creature’s stomach ached. It moaned and groaned. Then it died.
“Father, how did you kill the crocodile?” asked Laiamon.
“We have filled the pig with poison,” said the chief. “This creature had killed many people. I’m proud of you, Laiamon. You could get away from the crocodile. Remember my daughter, if you are brave, you can beat evil things.”
Timun Emas – Indonesian Folktale
ReplyDeleteLong time ago in the Island of Java, Indonesia, lived a couple of farmer. They had married for some years but they had no children. So they prayed to a monster called buta Ijo to give them children. Buta Ijo was a ferocious and powerful monster. He granted their wish on one condition. When their children had grown up, they had to sacrifice them to Buta Ijo. He liked eating fresh meat of human being. The farmers agreed to his condition. Several months later the wife was pregnant.
She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. They named her Timun Emas. The farmers were happy. Timun Emas was very healthy and a very smart girl. She was also very diligent. When she was a teenager Buta Ijo came to their house. Timun Emas was frightened so she ran away to hide. The farmers then told Buta Ijo that Timun Emas was still a child. They asked him to postpone. Buta Ijo agreed. He promised to come again. The following year Buta Ijo came again. But again and again their parents said that Timun Emas was still a child.
When the third time Buta Ijo came their parents had prepared something for him. They gave Timun Emas several bamboo needles, seeds of cucumber, dressing and salt.
“Timun, take these things”
“What are these things?”
“These are your weapons. Buta Ijo will chase you. He will eat you alive. So run as fast as you can. And if he will catch you spread this to the ground. Now go!”
Timun Emas was scared so she ran as quickly as she could. When Buta Ijo arrived she was far from home. He was very angry when he realized that his prey had left. So he ran to chase her. He had a sharp nose so he knew what direction his prey ran.

Last sunday, there was Thomas cup badminton championship between Indonesa and China. It was held on Istora Gelora Bung Karno. I went to Istora Gelora Bung Karno with my Brother, Andi.
Events:
Before entering Istora Gelora Bung Karno, we looked the bus that took Indonesian badminton team players. I saw taufik Hidayat, Muhammad Ahsan, Hendra Setiawan, Hayom Rumbaka, Angga Pratama, Rian Agung, Simon Santoso, Sony Dwi Kuncoro and the other Indonesian badminton players in that bus. They were very handsome. Then, we followed that bus to main-entrance. I found that Taufik Hidayat left from the bus. When we wanted to get close to Taufik Hidayat, a security guard held me back. But, I thought that security guard was familiar because He was my old friend when I was senior high school, he was Andre. After that, he let me in, finally i could meet Taufik Hidayat and got his signature.

My sister and I went to see a film last night. It was an American movie called The Lost Flight. It showed how people can quickly change when they have to look after themselves in the jungle. It was an interesting film about a plane which crashed on a small empty island in the Pacific Ocean.
Although the passengers were safe, nobody knew where the plane had crashed. So the passengers had to learn how to hunt for food in the jungle and how to catch fish from the sea to eat. After a few weeks, the passengers were eating raw fish and meat.
After they had been on the island for two months, three of the men made a boat and sailed away to find help. But their boat sank and they were drowned.
The film ended without saying whether the passengers were rescued or not. But my sister and I enjoyed the film.

I would leave home at 8 am on the dot and make my way down the lane. After a walk of about 700 metres I would be able to see the tall steeple of the

The playground would be full in the summer and the noise would make me want to rush into the yard and get into a good game of football before the bell
went.
4. My Great Day of Proposing Girl
I woke up at about five o’clock yesterday. It wasn’t a regular day, because I was about to propose a girl.
After praying and taking a bath, I had my early breakfast. At about nine o’clock I was in my office but my soul wasn’t there. I was thinking about the lines that I had to say to her.
At one o’clock, I had my lunch but I wasn’t enjoying it either. So, I practiced the lines to almost all girls I met at my lunch. Yes, I was a little bit crazy. Finally, it was three o’clock. I remembered all my lines. I wrapped my works and got ready to pick her up and of course proposed her.

8. Holiday in Bali
We had a wonderful holiday in Bali.
It was a really great place. The people were friendly, the food was great, and the weather was a lot better than at home.
Most days were pretty. I swam two or three times a day, but my brother Fachri just spent all his time lying on the beach with his eyes closed.
Last Saturday I got on the bus and went to the north of the island, It was much quieter there than here–very beautiful, but no tourists. The next day we went across to
the east coast to see some of the old villages.
I learned Balinese–I couldn’t say much, but it was fun to try. Fachri actually spoke it quite well, but he was afraid to open his mouth, so I was the one who talked to people.

It was takbiran night. It was also my birthday, and nothing happened. Or I had thought nothing would happen, but I was wrong.
That night, I was watching television with my family when I heard someone lit fireworks in my front yard. I peeped trough my window glass but could see nothing. It was very dark outside. Then I thought it had to be my cousins who lit the fireworks. Then I plopped down on my sofa again and tried to concentrate on the television since my mind raced with disappointment that no one gave something special on my birthday. I shrugged, it was almost the end of the day and I became pessimist. Five minutes later my mobile beeped. It was a text from my friend asking me to come out. Wondering what was going on, I grabbed my jacket and hurried to the front door. I was surprised to see her bring a bag full of firework and fire drills. Next I was surprised to see my other friend come out from the darkness. She brought a beautiful birthday cake on her hands. Oh my God! I shrieked. Then they gave the cake to me who was too stunned to say anything. I realized I was blushing furiously because my whole family was watching. Not to mention my neighbors too!
A plain day, or I thought it was before, turned out to be one of the greatest moment in my life. I didn’t even know how to describe what I felt. Happy was the simplest word.

Camping is a good way of spending a holiday away from home. It is cheap, and it is a lot of fun. You are free to go anywhere you please, and it is a great pleasure to be able to sleep under the stars.
Next week is holiday. The students of VIIA plan to go camping in WIDORO. Now they are discussing their plan.
"Where can we get the tents?" Fitri asked
"Everyone should bring his own bedding, a change of clothing and a set of eating utensils. The bedding should be light and warm and give you enough protection against the damp ground," Ayu explained.
"Besides a change of clothing, I believe you also need a sweater of a jacket. It may be cold at night," Anggraini said.
"How about food?" Nurul asked.
"It's fun to cook our own food. Why don’t you bring the cooking utensils, girls? I think you should try to prepare simple dishes in one pan. Then we will only need to carry a few utensils."
"All right" Anggraini said "We'll be responsible for the food. Will you take care of the tent, boys?"
"O.K" the boys said
They all look forward to the holiday

ReplyDeleteDiscovering The Komodo Lizard
Two fisherman tied their boat up, hurried out of the boat and ran down the streets of their hometown.
"We saw a dragon on Komodo Island," they shouted. "We saw a dragon!"
A man heard their shouts. He was an American named Douglas Burden, Burden was a naturalist. A naturalist is a person who tries to learn as much as he can about things that live. He believed what the two men said but there was only one way to find out. He had to go to Komodo Island himself and brought back on of the dragons for people to see.
So Douglas Burden and some friends sailed half way around the world to the tiny Island off the coast of Indonesia. When they reached the island they were afraid that the traps and cages they had with them would not be strong enough to hold the dragons.
There were dragons on the island. They weren’t the same dragons people see in picture, books, and in children stories, but they looked more like dragons than any other animal Burden had ever seen. They were really large lizard-some of them three meters long and as heavy as two men. Their legs were short and thick and on their feet were sharp claws like knives. Although they did not breathe fire like the dragons in story books, the lizards had yellow forked tongues that moved quickly in and out of their mouth.
It was difficult and dangerous to catch the lizards. Sometimes the lizards attacked the men. Sometimes the men had to kill the lizards to save themselves.
Finally, Burden and his friends caught two live Komodos and put them in cages on their ship. Then they sailed back to America.
When the two dragons were put into the Brooklyn Zoo in New York City, people came from all over America to see them. Burden was pleased that so many people had a chance to see two live dragons.
That was more than 45 year ago. Today there are no more live dragons anywhere in the world except on the tiny Island of Komodo. They still live there.

Five years ago, I studied at SD Pembangunan, Tangerang. I had many memorable moments with my friends at school. My friends were kind to me and they were smart. I joined some extracurriculer activities at school. I joined marching band, traditional dance, and vocal group. I loved music very much. I also liked arts.
I used to practice traditional dance with my friends every Monday after school. My teacher was fierce and discipline. We had to come on time. She would give punishment if we came late. We always practiced seriously because we would join traditional dance competition the following months. We would show our best in that competition. Then, the day came. We were so nervous at the beginning. I was afraid that I would do mistakes in my dance movements. The aundience were so excited to see us. I could recognize my mother on the middle of the crowd in the room. She tried to motivate me and gave spirit. I could also recognize my teacher standing near to my mother.
She smiled and gave spirit to us. We were back to our teacher after performing. She said that we had performed very well. She said that she would gave a little evaluation in our daily practice. An hour later, the judges announced the winner. With smile and little cry, we came in front the stage to take the prize. We get the second position as the winner of traditional dance. We were so happy. However, my tecaher said that we should practice more and more to have a better performance in the next competition.
I seldom practiced marching band because the schedule often got crushed with vocal group practice. I prefered to join vocal group practice. I loved singing. It was my favorite extracurriculer activity. In this activity, I learned how to sing well. My friends and I often sang in the government ceremony, especially in the independence day. We felt honoured and proud to sing there. In the regular flag ceremony at school, we also sang some national songs. My teacher also taught us to sing some kids song in meddle. I always felt happy to sing. It burnt my spirit up. I was so excited to sing a song. One day, my class teacher challenged us to sing whatever song we knew. If we were brave to sing in front of the classroom, my class teacher would give chocolate. Without doubt, I came to the front and started to sing. The first verse was going well. My friends seemed to enjoy my voice. The second verse was smooth. But, suddenly i got cough in the middle of the third vere and all of my friends laughed in the classroom. My throat was itchy.
My teacher gave me a glass of water to drink and the chocolate. I felt embrassed because I got cought when I was singing. On the other hand, I was so happy to get the chocolate. That story was always re-told by friends everytime we held reunion. That was a funny story they said.

My friends and I went to Bandung last month. They were Jezi, Kayla, Gisel, Pevita, and Diandra. We rent a jeep car with a very high cost because we didn’t plan it long before the day. It could be called as unexpected plan. But, it’s okay. We still determined to go by that car.
Our first plan was to visit tourism places in Bandung, such as Kawah Putih and Patenggang. However, Kawah Putih was very crowded. So many people visited it. Then we decided to cancel to visit Kawah Putih. Then, we directly went to Situ Patenggang. When we almost arrived there, we could see a very beautiful lake. We were so excited to see it closer. Whtengen we arrived right at our destination, the situation was quite crowded and full of merchants. We immediately came to lake Situ Patenggang. Wow, it was very beautiful. Unfortunately, there were some trashes around the lake. Whether it was lack of management or the visitor who littered was the cause of that condition. I didn’t know. I only hoped that the management officer of this place and all of the visitors could maintain the cleanness of this beauty of nature which has been created by God.
Besides Situ Patenggang, we also visited Tamansari Zoo. It was a very nice and a pleasure to go there. We could see closely many animals. They were very cute. I also saw some wild animals like python snake, tiger, and lion. I took a picture with a baby of a tiger and lion. They seemed tame and calm. It looked like a big cat. There was only me who was brave to take picture with them. All of my friends who came with me were coward.
Since the road to many other tourism places was so crowded, finally we decided to have culinary tours. It started from Kaliki Sand, Kampung gajah, House of Sausage, The Valley, until the Paris Van Java Mall. All of the foods were delicious. The price was also reasonable. I thought that I wanted to go back there to have culinary tours with my family. The atmosphere of Bandung was so romantic. It was really suitable to go with our sweetheart.
The next agenda after having culinary tours was shopping souvenirs. We bought some special foods from Bandung such as brownies, banana roll, Karuhun chips, etc. We also bought some T-Shirts for our family and neighbour. Shopping souvenirs signed that the holiday was over.
Even though Bandung was always crowded in every holiday, we always made it an alternative place to have holiday together. It was not really far from Tangerang. There were also many delicious foods which I would always miss it. There were still many beautiful tourism places which could relieve our stress after hard working everyday. Moreover, it didn’t cost much money like going to Bali. It was a very nice holiday. It was short but meaningful. I was so happy. So were my friends. Well, that was my story about holiday in Bandung.

ReplyDeleteGo To The Zoo
Last Holiday, my sister and went to the zoo. She’s a genuine animal lover. At home she spent all her energy playing and strolling our pet dog, and in all honesty, she’s been approaching me to take her for some time.
At first I wasn’t certain about going in light of the fact that I’ve generally been uncomfortable with zoo. I considered them to be similar to detainment facilities for wild creatures that ought to be sans running, not secured up pens.
All things considered, I need to say current zoos are vastly improved than I recollect, the creatures have bunches of space, they appear to be well dealt with and we took in a ton.
The main thing we saw were the gorilla. They look so human, it’s anything but difficult to how we are identified with them. They don’t have tails like chimpanzees and can walk upright a bit.
Next were the elephant. It’s stunning how they can get nourishment with their trunks. I learned you can tell in the event that they are African or Indian by the extent of their ears – African ones have greater ears.
After that it was the lions, nicknamed the ‘king of the jungle’. We didn’t hear any of them thunder, however we did get the opportunity to see them stroll about. The guys have wonderful manes of hair around their necks. Evidently it’s to ensure them in battles. I additionally read that the females do the vast majority of the chasing.
My little girl was a bit frightened of the snakes, I figure quite a few people don’t care for reptiles. I need to concede any creature with a long thin body and no arms or legs is abnormal!
The penguins made we chuckle, they are so charming! It’s unusual to believe they’re a feathered creature that can’t fly. While different winged animals have wings for flying, they have adjusted their flippers for swimming.
Alternate flying creatures I loved taking a gander at were the owl. They have gigantic eyes, delightful quills, and they can turn their necks the distance around. I read their extensive eyes are to help them see during the evening, when they are generally dynamic.
My girl was interested with the giraffe and their long, long necks. She asked me for what reason they have long necks rather than long legs – great inquiry!
With everything taken into account, it was an awesome day. Next time I’ll take her to the aquarium to see the dolphins and sharks.

ReplyDeleteFox and A Cat
One day a cat and a fox were having a conversation. The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how clever she was. 'Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,' she said.
'I know only one trick to get away from dogs,' said the cat. 'You should teach me some of yours!'
'Well, maybe some day, when I have the time, I may teach you a few of the simpler ones,' replied the fox airily.
Just then they heard the barking of a pack of dogs in the distance. The barking grew louder and louder - the dogs were coming in their direction! At once the cat ran to the nearest tree and climbed into its branches, well out of reach of any dog. 'This is the trick I told you about, the only one I know,' said the cat. 'Which one of your hundred tricks are you going to use?'
The fox sat silently under the tree, wondering which trick she should use. Before she could make up her mind, the dogs arrived. They fell upon the fox and tore her to pieces.
Moral : A single plan that works is better than a hundred doubtful plans.

ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time down on an old farm, lived a duck family, and Mother Duck had been sitting on a clutch of new eggs. One nice morning, the eggs hatched and out popped six chirpy ducklings. But one egg was bigger than the rest, and it didn’t hatch. Mother Duck couldn’t recall laying that seventh egg. How did it get there? TOCK! TOCK! The little prisoner was pecking inside his shell.
animals-ugly-duckling1
“Did I count the eggs wrongly?” Mother Duck wondered. But before she had time to think about it, the last egg finally hatched. A strange looking duckling with gray feathers that should have been yellow gazed at a worried mother. The ducklings grew quickly, but Mother Duck had a secret worry.
“I can’t understand how this ugly duckling can be one of mine!” she said to herself, shaking her head as she looked at her last born. Well, the gray duckling certainly wasn’t pretty, and since he ate far more than his brothers, he was outgrowing them. As the days went by, the poor ugly duckling became more and more unhappy. His brothers didn’t want to play with him, he was so
clumsy, and all the farmyard folks simply laughed at him. He felt sad and lonely, while Mother Duck did her best to console him.
“Poor little ugly duckling!” she would say. “Why are you so different from the others?” And the ugly duckling felt worse than ever. He secretly wept at night. He felt nobody wanted him.
“Nobody loves me, they all tease me! Why am I different from my brothers?”
Then one day, at sunrise, he ran away from the farmyard. He stopped at a pond and began to question all the other birds. “Do you know of any ducklings with gray feathers like mine?” But everyone shook their heads in scorn.
“We don’t know anyone as ugly as you.” The ugly duckling did not lose heart, however, and kept on making inquiries. He went to another pond, where a pair of large geese gave him the same answer to his question. What’s more, they warned him: “Don’t stay here! Go away! It’s dangerous. There are men with guns around here!” The duckling was sorry he had ever left the farmyard.
Then one day, his travels took him near an old countrywoman’s cottage. Thinking he was a stray goose, she caught him.
“I’ll put this in a hutch. I hope it’s a female and lays plenty of eggs!” said the old woman, whose eyesight was poor. But the ugly duckling laid not a single egg. The hen kept frightening him.
“Just wait! If you don’t lay eggs, the old woman will wring your neck and pop you into the pot!” And the cat chipped in: “Hee! Hee! I hope the woman cooks you, then I can gnaw at your bones!” The poor ugly duckling was so scared that he lost his appetite, though the old woman kept stuffing him with food and grumbling: “If you won’t lay eggs, at least hurry up and get plump!”
725
ReplyDelete“Oh, dear me!” moaned the now terrified duckling. “I’ll die of fright first! And I did so hope someone would love me!”
Then one night, finding the hutch door ajar, he escaped. Once again he was all alone. He fled as far away as he could, and at dawn, he found himself in a thick bed of reeds. “If nobody wants me, I’ll hid here forever.” There was plenty a food, and the duckling began to feel a little happier, though he was lonely. One day at sunrise, he saw a flight of beautiful birds wing overhead. White, with long slender necks, yellow beaks and large wings, they were migrating south.
“If only I could look like them, just for a day!” said the duckling, admiringly. Winter came and the water in the reed bed froze. The poor duckling left home to seek food in the snow. He dropped exhausted to the ground, but a farmer found him and put him in his big jacket pocket.
“I’ll take him home to my children. They’ll look after him. Poor thing, he’s frozen!” The duckling was showered with kindly care at the farmer’s house. In this way, the ugly duckling was able to survive the bitterly cold winter.
However, by springtime, he had grown so big that the farmer decided: “I’ll set him free by the pond!” That was when the duckling saw himself mirrored in the water.
“Goodness! How I’ve changed! I hardly recognize myself!” The flight of swans winged north again and glided on to the pond. When the duckling saw them, he realized he was one of their kind, and soon made friends.
“We’re swans like you!” they said, warmly. “Where have you been hiding?”
“It’s a long story,” replied the young swan, still astounded. Now, he swam majestically with his fellow swans. One day, he heard children on the river bank exclaim: “Look at that young swan! He’s the finest of them all!”
And he almost burst with happiness.

He told the old widow that there will be a a baby inside the cucumber. The giant promised to come back for the baby once she turned sixteen.
The old widow planted the seed in her yard. By the next morning, a cucumber grew. She cut it open and found a baby girl inside. The old widow was so happy and named the baby Timun Mas. Day by day, Timun Mas grew into a beautiful lady. The widow remembered what the giant had warned her. So when Timun Mas turned sixteen, the widow told her to run into the jungle with a bag of salt. “You must not let the giant catch you,” the widow cried out as Timun Mas ran into the jungle.
The giant came and asked the widow for Timun Mas. The widow refused to tell him and so he went into the jungle. He angrily called out for Timun Mas. Timun Mas heard his voice and ran away from him. The giant chased her. Timun Mas threw the salt that the widow had given her. It turned the jungle into a muddy field. The muddy field swallowed the giant and he was never seen again. Finally, Timun Mas returned home and lived happily ever after with the old widow.

ReplyDeleteA Trip To Borobudur Temple
Last week, I spent my holiday in Jogjakarta. I went to Borobudur Temple. My family and I went there early morning We went to Borobudur Temple by private car. I had prepared everything before we went to Jogja. While we were driving, we could see some beautiful views of mountains, forests, and waterfalls. My family and I arrived at Borobudur Temple at 11:30 in the afternoon. There, I saw many tourists. Borobudur Temple was crowded in that holiday vacation. I could learn and practice speaking English with one of foreign tourists. His name was Jack. He was very friendly. It was my first time to speak English with foreign tourist. We went back at 04:30 in the evening. It was a very interesting vacation
One day, my sister named Putri said to me that she really wanted to go to the beach. So I promised her that the next week we would go to Mutun beach in Lampung.
The next week, we prepared everything needed in the morning. We brought some foods and beverages, such as chocolate wafers, potato chips, water and orange juice. Before going to the beach, I ask our brother, Bayu, to join us. He agreed to join and we went there together with our parents. We went there by car. It took 3 hours to arrive there. Then, we bought tickets in the entrance gate. Before swimming, we changed our clothes first. We swam there for more than one hour. We felt so tired that we decided to eat the foods that we had brought. Next, three of us created a very big sand castle, while my parents were enjoying the beautiful scenery there. After that, we decided to go home because it was getting dark.
On the way home, we still felt hungry. So we stopped at a restaurant to have dinner. I ordered sruit, Lampungnese traditional food, while my brother, my sister, and my parents ordered fried rice. After finished eating, we paid our bills. Then, we went home. We arrived at home at 9 o’clock. We were tired but we were absolutely happy.

ReplyDeleteLast year, at the end of the year, my wife and I decided to spend our holiday at Tanjung Setia beach, which located around 234 kilometers from Bandarlampung.
When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised to see the beautiful view of the beach. After having a quick dip in the ocean, which was really cold and windy, we realized that there were not many people there. We thought that it happened because it was too windy there during that time but we finally realized that it was Christmas holiday so almost all of tourists who are used to spending time there went back to their country.
After spending few times swimming in the beach, we bought some hot chips at the takeaway store nearby, and we rode our bikes down the beach for a while, on the hard, damp part of the sand. The next day we visited Labuan Jukung beach. There, we were amazed to see the high wave owned by this beach. Because it was so high that no body was brave enough to surf on it that time.
The third day there, we decided to go home when we finally made it back home, we were both totally exhausted because of the trip but we were so happy to travel such an amazing beach Lampung province has.
There were so many places to see in Bali that my friend decided to join the tours to see as much as possible. My friend stayed in Kuta on arrival. He spent the first three days swimming and surfing on Kuta beach. He visited some tour agents and selected two tours. The first one was to Singaraja, the second was to Ubud.
On the day of the tour, he was ready. My friend and his group drove on through mountains. Singaraja is a city of about 90 thousands people. It is a busy but quiet town. The street are lined with trees and there are many old Dutch houses. Then they returned very late in the evening to Kuta.
The second tour to Ubud was a very different tour. It was not to see the scenery but to see the art and the craft of the island. The first stop was at Batubulan, a center of stone sculpture. There my friend watched young boys were carving away at big blocks of stone. The next stop was Celuk, a center for silversmiths and goldensmiths. After that he stopped a little while for lunch at Sukawati and on to mass. Mass is a tourist center.
My friend ten-day-stay ended very quickly beside his two tour, all his day was spent on the beach. He went sailing or surfboarding every day. He was quiet satisfied.

In the morning, my friend and I saw Mount Batok. The scenery was very beautiful. We rode on horseback. It was scary, but it was fun. Then, we went to get a closer look at the mountain. We took pictures of the beautiful scanery there. After that, we took a rest and had lunch under a big tree. Before we got home, we went to the zoo at Wonokromo. We went home in the afternoon.
We were very tired. However, I think it was really fun to have a holiday like this. I hope my next holiday will be more intersting.
Cats also called the domestic cat or house cat (with its scientific name: Felis silvestris catus or Felis catus) is a type of carnivorous mammal of the family Felidae. The word "cat" generally refers to a "cat" that has been tamed, but can also refer to the "big cats" such as lions and tigers.
Cats are considered as "perfect carnivore" with teeth and particular digestive tract. The first premolar and molar teeth form a pair of fangs on each side of the mouth that works effectively as a pair of scissors to tear the meat. Although these features also exist in the Canidae or dog, but these traits are better developed in cats. Unlike other carnivores, cats eat almost non vegetable substance. Bears and dogs sometimes eat berries, roots, or honey as a supplement, while cats only eat meat, usually freshly killed prey. In captivity, cats can not adapt to a vegetarian diet because they can not synthesize all the amino acids they need from plant material; it is in contrast with domesticated dogs, which commonly are fed a mixture of meat and vegetables and sometimes it can adapt to a completely vegetarian meal.
Cats have mingled with human life since at least 6000 BC, from the skeleton of the cat found on the island of Cyprus. The ancient Egyptians of 3500 BC have used cats to keep away the rats or other rodents from the barn where the crops were saved.Currently, the cat is one of the most popular pet in the world. Cats that his lines are recorded officially as a cat breeds or pure breed are Persian, Siamese, Manx, and the sphinx. These kinds of cat are usually bred in official captivity animal. The number of purebred cat is only 1% of all cats in the world; the rest is a cat with mixed ancestry such as wild cats or domestic cats.

Laptops are commonly used in a variety of settings, such as at work, in education, and for personal multimedia.
A laptop combines the components, inputs, outputs and capabilities of a desktop computer, including the display screen, speakers, a keyboard, and pointing devices (such as a touchpad or trackpad) into a single unit. A flag is a piece of fabric (most often rectangular or quadrilateral) with a distinctive design that is used as a symbol, as a signaling device, or as decoration. The term flag is also used to refer to the graphic design employed, and flags have since evolved into a general tool for rudimentary signalling and identification, especially in environments where communication is similarly challenging (such as the maritime environment where semaphore is used).
National flags are potent patriotic symbols with varied wide-ranging interpretations. Flags are also used in messaging, advertising, or for other decorative purposes. The study of flags is known as vexillology, from the Latin word vexillum, meaning flag or banner.

Versi Indonesia - Cerita Arti Sebuah Persahabatan
Kembali dia menertawakan kebodohan sang kura-kura.
Versi Inggris - The Meaning of A Friendship
ReplyDeleteIn the ancient times there lived a tortoise and a hawk. Although the turtles and eagles rarely met because the turtles spend more time disemak-bush while the more eagle fly, but does not preclude the eagle to visit her childhood friend who is always good-natured, the turtle.
Turtles of the family are very friendly and always greet the eagle with joy. They also always give the eagle food with very royalnya. So the eagle is always many times to come as free food from the family turtle. After every meal from a family of turtles the eagle always laughed at the tortoise: "ha ha how stupid tortoise, I can feel the pleasure of food is always he gave, but he may not be able to feel the joy that my food because my lair lies far above the mountain "
Because so often the eagle laugh and selfishly spend the turtle food, then the whole forest began to gossip about the attitude of the eagle. The forest dwellers was unhappy with the attitude of the eagle to the wishes tortoise kind. One day a frog calling turtle who was walking near the river. "Hi my friend the turtle, give me a bowl of peas, then I will give you words of wisdom for you" cried the frog. After spending a bowl of peas from the turtle, the frog said to her, "the tortoise, the eagle has abused friend friendship and your kindness. Every time after visiting at the nest, always make fun of him by saying" ha ha how stupid the turtles, I can feel the pleasure of eating always he gave, but he may not be able to feel the joy of my food because my lair is located far above the mountain. "In one day the eagle will come back and will ask for a basket of food from you and promise to provide food for you and your children "
It is true that the frog said, the eagle comes with a basket and as usual the eagle enjoying food from the turtles. The eagle said: "O my turtle, allow me to fill my basket with food from you, then I'll send my wife to the son and the wife will give homemade food for his wife and son". Then the eagle flew back and laugh at the tortoise. Then immediately the turtle into the basket and covered with fruits vegetables by his wife, so it is not visible. When the eagle back, the wife of the turtle said that her husband had just gone and giving baskets full of food to the eagle. The eagle flew immediately rushed while carrying the basket.
he laughs at the stupidity back turtle. But this time the tortoise heard his own words. When they reached the eagle nest, and the eagle immediately take the contents of the basket until they run out. How shocked see the turtles come out of the basket. "Hi my friend the eagle, you have often visited the lair but I have never even visited the nest. Berbahagianya would seem that I can enjoy your food as you enjoy the food." How angry the eagle because he felt tersindir. He angrily peck kura.Namun thanks to the tortoise-shell turtle home the harsh, turtles can not be pecked by the eagle. With the sad turtle said: "I've seen what kind of friendship you offer me hai the eagle. How disappointed I was. Okay take me back to my lair and our friendship will end." The elangpun said: "Well if you wish. I'll take you home" But evil thoughts arise on the account of the eagle. "I'll take you down and eat the remains of yourselves" he thought again.
ReplyDeleteThat is, the turtle holds the feet of the eagle is flying high. "Disconnect my feet" cried the angry eagle. With the patient tortoise replied: "I will rescue your feet if you already take me back to my lair" to upset the eagle was flying high, menungkik and shaking his legs with the hope of turtles will fall. But there is no point. Finally he lowers the turtles in the nest, and immediately fly high with shame.
When the eagle flies, the tortoise exclaimed: "O my friendship requires mutual split with each other. You will-I respect and appreciate me. Yet somehow, since you want to make our friendship just a game, my family and I laugh hospitality then you should not have to again come to me ".
Dia hanya tersenyum.
ReplyDelete“Maaf, aku terlalu banyak mengoceh.”
Tiba-tiba kulihat awan gelap seperti menyisih. Hujan berubah jadi gerimis yang tidak kencang. Segerombolan burung terbang dari pepohonan. Aku memakai kembali jaketku.
Do you also hate the rain ? " He suddenly asks who'd ask him .
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to remember the good verses of rhyme Sapardi , or anyone else about the rain . But nobody remembered about the incident other than a person who cries . With a baby covered and hugged tightly , she was carrying a large suitcase . Precisely dragging the suitcase . A large white house looks bright when the lightning struck . Sounds a mustachioed man mixed with the sound of thunder . Whether what he said . But clearly made a woman with a baby in her arms were getting heavy tears .
It seems since then , I hate anything related to rain . Including one that I found in the rain . Such as Sri , Maya , or Galuh who were waiting in the rain to stop in the bus stop .
Suddenly I saw the dark clouds like to opt out . The rain turned into a drizzle that is not tight . A swarm of birds flew from the trees . I put my jacket back .

"The rain almost stopped. I go for now. " I said in a tone that I want out of my lips so polite . Like a child playing goodbye to his mother.

Malam harinya “kring, kring, kring” bunyi sms hpnya Jaki.

One day a cat and a fox were having a conversation. The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how clever she was. 'Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,' she said.
ReplyDelete'I know only one trick to get away from dogs,' said the cat.

A poor man came along riding a cow. He grumbled because the stone lay in his path. He walked around the stone and went on his way. Then a farmer came. He was on his way to themill. He complained, too. He did the same thing like the previous man.
So the day passed. Everyone who came across the stone were grumbling and complaining about it because it was blocking their way. However, no one tried to move it, even touched it.
When the dusk came, a boy passed the road. He looked very tired because he had been working very hard at the mill that day.
"It is almost dark. Somebody may stumble over this stone in the night and perhaps will be badly hurt. I'll remove it off the way," said the boy.
So, he tugged the stone. It was a hard work because the stone was very heavy. However, the boy was quite tough. He pulled and pushed it all the way and finally the stone was successfully removed.
The boy was so surprised to find a bag under the stone. Upon the bag was written: "THIS GOLD BELONGS TO THE ONE WHO MOVES THE STONE!"
