 Islamic Motivational Speech for 6th Grade Students

Title: "Learning Is Worship in Islam"

 

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Good morning everyone,

First, let us say Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah, who gives us health and happiness. Shalawat and salam we send to our Prophet Muhammad SAW, who has guided us from darkness to light.

Dear teachers, parents, and my beloved friends. Today, I want to talk about how learning is a part of worship in Islam. In the Qur’an, Allah says:

 اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ

"Read in the name of your Lord who created."

(QS. Al-‘Alaq: 1)

This verse teaches us that learning and reading are very important in Islam. The first word revealed in the Qur'an is "Iqra" — Read! This shows us that Islam loves knowledge. Our Prophet Muhammad SAW also said:

"Whoever follows a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for him."

(HR. Muslim)

So, dear friends, when we learn, it is not just for school or exams. It is also worship. When we study with good intentions, Allah will reward us. Let us study hard, obey our parents, respect our teachers, and be good Muslims. If we do this, InshaAllah, we will succeed in this world and in the hereafter.

Title: "I Love Learning Because of Allah"

 

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Good morning, my teachers and friends!

My name is Salfa Ishaq.

I am in Grade 1.

Today, I want to talk about learning in Islam.

I love to learn.

I learn to read.

I learn to write.

I learn about Islam.

The Qur'an says:

"Read in the name of your Lord who created."

(Surah Al-‘Alaq: 1)

This ayah tells us: Allah wants us to learn.

Our Prophet Muhammad SAW said:

“Seeking knowledge is a duty for every Muslim.”

(Hadith – Ibn Majah)

So, I go to school with a big smile.

I study for Allah.

I want to be a good Muslim.

I want to make my parents proud.

Thank you, teachers.

Thank you, friends.

That is my speech today.

Education for future

Quality improvement and the nation must be taken, especially through education. Education is a long process, which ceaselessly to achieve one objective and open to new ideas and new concepts. That's the meaning of education, so that when the result of an education that will foster a new culture with intelligent human being. As long as it has the intelligent human policies and virtue in his soul. Only after that he was able to master science and technology. New culture that is the counter-culture which is then entered into the order of a society (culture) alternative will be chosen by this nation.

Everything is well organized through education: education that can educate, able to foster a virtuous and wise, and mastering science and technology. That later would transform Indonesia into new Indonesian nation. This seems to be a "scourge" for education in Indonesia. Not to mention the shortage of teaching staff resolved the issue, the problem of inadequate educational facilities appear, and following the issue of high cost of education.

We still feel as a nation that remains in many ways compared to other nations. Therefore the only way to achieve the nation is to improve education in order to make an intelligent nation through comprehensive national education system and planned. But to go in that direction, the path is very long and difficult because the issue of education is strongly associated with other factors, including economic issues, security and other social problems. The teacher was expected to begin changing the way students learn. The teachers are no longer allowed to put pressure on students as rote learning and provide multiple choice questions (multiple choice) because it could have an impact on the formation of personality.

The role of education, as a means of empowerment, must consciously prepare learners in people's lives both as individuals and members of society. Empowerment only has meaning if it became part of the empowerment process and the function of the culture. Therefore, education should foster independence, self-moving statements and educators teach students to live in harmony with respect for the difference. Looking ahead, the education system must be transformed from a motivational instructional achievement, creativity, and virtuous character.
