Pengen ngetes keberanian dengan nonton annabelle creation ini? Bisa jadi bagi fans cerita horor, tayangan ini kurang spooky. Annabelle yang berkisah tentang keluarga pengrajin boneka yang anak putrinya tewas tertabrak kendaraan yang saat itu usianya 7 tahun. Nah, ketegangan ini berawal ketika biarawati dan beberapa anak panti asuhan tinggal untuk diadopsi. Arwah si gadis kecil yang tentunya bukan lagi ruh asli si anak, tetapi perwujudan lain dari iblis yang ingin tinggal di boneka. Konsep jalan cerita yang disajikan cukup berhasil, perwujudan hantu di awal adegan dilakukan bertahap untuk mendapatkan tensi yang semakin naik. Hingga akhirnya kemunculan syetan dari annabelle lebih vulgar dan agresive. Bahkan Sam, si ayah dari gadis kecil itu, diserang hingga tewas mengenaskan. Benar-benar membuat bulu kuduk berdiri dan tentunya rasa ingin tahu yang besar akan akhir cerita dari film ini. Hanya saja memang film ini secara spiritual dillihat dari sudut pandang ajaran bibel, dimana cara mengusir hingga melawan roh jahat dilakukan berdasarkan keimanan terhadap ajaran gereja. Disetiap perjalanannya, Petter selalu merekam kegiatannya. Lalu Petter di perlihatkan sebuah kostum Spiderman, Petter pun takjub. Kemudian dia langsung memakainya. Lalu pada saat Petter mengendarai mobil bersama dengan Iron Man, lalu Petter takjub pada saat Iron Man mengatakan bahwa kostumnya boleh dibawa pulang, kemudian Petter diantar pulang ke rumah pamannya yaitu Iron Man. Dua bulan kemudian Petter berangkat sekolah dengan mengendarai bus. Di sekolah suasana sangat ramai, Petter pun disapa oleh temannya, saat Petter sedang membuka loker pribadinya, ada teman yang mengajak bicara dengan membawa mainan monster kecil. Saat itu juga ada seorang wanita yang sedang berjalan dengan teman-temannya, wanita itu bernama Liz. Petter pun terpesona saat melihat Liz, begitu juga dengan Liz ketika melihat sosok Petter.
Saat Petter pulang ke rumah, Dia melewati jendela rumahnya dengan menggunakan kostum Spiderman. Dia terkejut melihat temannya yaitu Ned yang ada di kamarnya. Petter pun langsung mengatakan pada Ned agar tidak mengatakan kepada siapa-siapa tentang dirinya yang menjadi Spiderman. Setiap di sekolah, Ned selalu mengajak Petter dan temannya-temannya berbincang-bincang, ketika mereka sedang asik berbincang-bincang, Ned keceplosan mengatakan bahwa Spiderman itu adalah Petter. Petter pun langsung mengalihkan pembicaran kepada teman-temannya.
Malam harinya Petter dan Ned pergi ke sebuah pesta dan bertemu dengan Liz. Petter pun tidak lupa untuk menyapa Liz dengan senyumanya. Kemudian Petter pergi ke belakang dengan berganti kostum spiderman. Ketika Petter akan duduk di atap, Petter melihat ada cahaya biru. Petter pun ingin mencari tahu asal dari cahaya tersebut. Ternyata cahaya tersebut berasal dari seseorang yang sedang mencoba kekuatan dari senjata yang dia miliki. Orang tersebut mencoba kabur sambil menembak Petter dengan senjatanya. Ketika Petter akan melilntasi sebuah tembok, Petter terjatuh dan bertemu dengan Iron Man lalu Petter menemukan senjata Tooms yang terjatuh. Sedangkan Tooms kembali ke markas dengan kesal melihat senjatanya berada di tangan Petter.
Setelah itu Petter meneliti senjata tersebut di rumanya. Petter berjalan keluar menuju atap dari rumahnya, disitu Petter memakai kostum Spiderman ketika Petter melihat ke arah kota, tiba-tiba dia melihat seorang yang memakai baju baja bersayap, Petter pun mengejar dan berkelahi dengannya diatas truk. Petter terjatuh dan terkunci didalam truk.
ReplyDeleteBeberapa hari kemudian, Petter bertemu lagi dengan orang yang memakai baju baja bersayap itu. Mereka kembali berkelahi di kapal, sehingga mengakibatkan kapal tersebut terbelah menjadi dua. Kemudian Iron Man menolong Petter dan menyatukan kembali kapal yang telah terbelah itu. Saat Petter akan menghadiri sebuah pesta dengan Liz, Petter terkejut ternyata Tooms adalah ayah dari wanita yang dia sukai (Liz). Petter pun curiga dengan tingkah laku Liz yang mengajak dirinya untuk berdansa bersama. Akhirnya Petter menolak ajakan dari Liz dan Dia lebih memilih untuk pergi ke terminal bus dan mengambil kostum Spiderman. Sesampainya di terminal bus tiba-tiba ada seseorang yang menyerang Petter.
Sekarang Petter sudah mengetahui bahwa ternyata ayah Liz yang bernama Tooms adalah dalang dari semua kekacauan yang terjadi selama ini. Kemudian Petter dan Tooms berkelahi di badan pesawat hingga menyebabkan pesawatnya hancur. Meskipun demikian Petter tetap menolong Tooms yang terjatuh dari pesawat dan menjebloskannya ke penjara.
Akhirnya semua peristiwa sudah berlalu. Suatu hari Petter bertemu dengan Iron Man dan Tony, tujuan dari pertemuan mereka adalah bahwa Iron Man dan Tony ingin memberikan kostum Spiderman yang baru kepada Petter, akan tetapi Petter menolaknya, karena disisi lain Dia bingung memilih untuk menjadi manusia biasa yang egois dan memikirkan kebahagiaannya sendiri atau menjadi Spiderman yang memperjuangkan kebahagiaan bagi banyak orang. Tetapi akhirnya Petter lebih memilih untuk menjadi manusia biasa dan seorang siswa yang sebagaimana mestinya, meskipun Petter sudah menjadi manusia pada umumnya, Petter tidak lupa untuk selalu tetap berbuat baik kepada orang lain. Setiap Dia melihat kejahatan-kejahatan yang merajalela Dia selalu mencegahnya. Seiring berjalannya waktu akhirnya Petter hidup bebas dan bahagia, bersama orang-orang yang Dia sayang.

Didalamnya banyak mengajarkan penonton untuk saling menolong, seperti pada adegan saat Spider-Man menolong banyak orang karena kejahatan yang dilakukan oleh monster. Selain itu juga film ini membawa pesan moral yang baik tentang harapan serta perjuangan versi anak sekolah.
KEKURANGAN FILM SPIDER-MAN
Seharusnya film ini ditonton oleh anak diatas 17 tahun, karena didalamnnya banyak menayangkan adegan-adegan yang kurang baik untuk ditonton. Alur dari film ini kurang sempurna karena ada beberapa keganjilan diantaranya pada adegan pesawat yang mengangkut senjata-senjata yang berbahaya bisa mengudara dengan santai tanpa kawalan dari para Superhero yang seolah memberi kasempatan Spidey dan Vulture untuk duel bersama. Pada Spider-Man versi terakhir ini cukup terlihat aneh karena ia bisa tampil begitu canggih dan merepotkan Tim Captain Amerika karena dalam ini kemampuan Spider-Man seolah merosot menjadi Superhro baru.
KESIMPULAN FILM SPIDER-MAN
Menurut kami film Spider-Man sangat menarik karena film ini berkonsep santai dan banyak diberi unsur komedi, sehingga penonton tidak terlalu tegang dengan adegan-adegan yang mengejutkan. Selain itu juga film ini membawa pesan moral tentang perjuangan anak sekolah. Film yang menceritakan kehidupan seorang siswa yang memiliki kekuatan Superhero dengan kekuatannya sebagai Spider-Man ini juga memberikan atau mengajarkan pada penonton untuk saling menolong kepada sesama ketika mereka membutuhkan bantuan.

Setelah optimus meninggalkan bumi untuk menemui penciptanya yang bernama quintessa ,hubungan antara manusia dan robot tidak pernah bisa bersatu. Hingga transformer dinyatakan ilegal di bumi,karena tidak adanya optimus sebagai pemimpin para outobots. Tapi para robot selalu berdatangan ke bumi hanya di kuba para robot dapat hidup bebas

Cade dan bumble bee tiba di inggris di sambut oleh pria bertopi,pria itu bercerita tentang jimat yang dibawa oleh cade. tak lama kemudian vivian datang mereka masuk dan berunding sambil berkenalan satu sama lain.
Cade dan vivian diajak berkeliling melihat isi rumah pria tersebut sambil menjelaskan beberapa koleksi-koleksinya,ia juga menjelaskan sejarah raja arthur dan si penyihir merlin terkait tongkat sakti yang dimiliki merlin. ReplyDeleteTransformers the last knight menceritakan kisah cade yeager(mark wahiberg) dan vivian wemble (laura haddock) seorang profesor di oxford akan berpetualang memahami sejarah transformers di muka bumi. Film ini akan di awali dengan latar belakang abad pertengahan, dimana king arthur sedang menghadapi perang yang tak kunjung selesai. Namun, arthur meminta pasukannya agar bersabar menunggu merlin, penyihir yang di perkirakan dapat menyelesaikan peperangan. Film ini merupakan arahan dari sutradara yang bernama michael bay berdasarkan naskah skenario cerita yang di tulis oleh art marcum,matt holloway.

Bawang Putih was very sad because she was very fond of her mother. Her father was also so sad because he loved his wife so much.
After Bawang Putih’s mother died, her house was visited frequently by a widow who had a daughter named Bawang Merah. The widow often came with Bawang Merah to the Bawang Putih’s home by bringing food, helping to clean the house, and chatting with Bawang Putih’s father. Finally, the father thinks that he should marry the widow and made the widow as a new mother for Bawang Putih.
He asked for consideration of the proposal to Bawang Putih. After being allowed to get married by Bawang Putih, then her father immediately carried out the marriage. They become a new family and lived in a house. At first, the mother and Bawang Merah’s behaved Bawang Putih very well. However, the good behavior did not to be last long. Soon, the Bawang Merah and her mother began to show their bad attitude. Bawang Putih was often scolded and given heavy works when the father went to trade. She had to do a lot of housework while the Bawang Merahs just sit and did not work at all. However, the situation was never told by her to his father, so the Bawang Putih continued to be treated badly by Bawang Merah’s and her mother.

Because of getting too excited, she was not aware that there was a shirt that washed away. She realized that the shirt had been washed away when the flow carried it far enough. Later, she pursued but did not get the shirt. She felt hopeless and immediately went home.
The shirt was her mother's favorite. Of course, the mother was angry and told her to look for the shirt until she could found it. Bawang Putih came back to the river and walked to the west to seek her mother's favorite shirt. She walked along the river up to tens of kilometers. After that, Bawang Putih suddenly saw someone who was bathing the buffalo in the river. She asked the man about the clothes were washed away. Later, she was informed that the shirt drifting and it was not far from where she was standing. At that moment, Bawang Putih immediately ran down the river to find the shirt.
t was getting dark and the Bawang Putih found a home. Because of completely exhausted, she decided to take a break in the house. Apparently, it housed an old lady who had previously found the shirt. The old lady wanted to return the shirt to her, but she should accompany the old lady during a week. She agreed to stay with the lady for a week. Within a week, she made the old lady to be so happy because she was diligent and never complained even though felt so tired.
ReplyDeleteAfter accompanying for a week, she was given a pumpkin as the gift. When opening it, she was very surprised because there were so much gold and gems. She immediately went home and told the happening to her mother and also Bawang Merah. However, the gold and jewels that she got immediately seized and she was forced to tell where the jewelry could be obtained. Bawang Putih immediately said that she got it from an old lady who lived near the river.
In the next day, Bawang Merah came to that house and stayed for a week like what Bawang Putih did. However, because Bawang Merah was a lazy girl, the old lady gave a different pumpkin from Bawang Putih. Bawang Merah did not care and Bawang Merah immediately went home to open the pumpkin with her mother. Apparently, the content was not gems or gold, but the venomous snake that bit of Bawang Merah and the mother. Both of them died because of their greed.

Mereka adalah keluarga yang harmonis dan bahagia meskipun sang ayah hanya bekerja sebagai seorang pedagang biasa. Suatu hari, kebahagiaan yang ada di dalam keluarga tersebut hilang karena sang ibu meninggal. Bawang putih sangat sedih karena ia sangat menyayangi ibunya, begitu juga sang ayah yang sangat sedih karena sang istri telah meninggal.
Setelah ibu bawang putih meninggal, rumahnya sering dikunjungi oleh seorang janda yang mempunyai anak bernama bawang merah. Ibu bawang merah sering datang ke rumah bawang putih dan membawakan makanan, membantu membersihkan rumah, dan mengobrol dengan ayah bawang putih. Akhirnya, ayah bawang putih berpikir bahwa sebaiknya ia menikah dengan janda tersebut dan menjadikannya sebagai ibu baru untuk bawang putih.
Ia meminta usul dan pertimbangan dari bawang putih. Setelah diizinkan untuk menikah oleh bawang putih, maka sang ayah segera melaksanakan pernikahan dengan ibu bawang merah. Mereka menjadi sebuah keluarga baru dan tinggal di rumah tersebut. Pada awalnya, ibu bawang merah dan bawang merah sangat baik terhadap bawang putih. Namun, perilaku baik tersebut tidak bertahan lama. Lama-kelamaan bawang merah dan ibunya mulai menunjukkan sikap buruk mereka. bawang putih sering dimarah dan diberikan pekerjaan berat ketika sang ayah pergi berdagang. Ia harus mengerjakan banyak pekerjaan rumah sementara bawang merah hanya duduk dan tidak bekerja sama sekali. Namun, keadaan tersebut tidak pernah diceritakan olehnya kepada sang ayah, sehingga bawang putih terus diperlakukan secara buruk oleh bawang merah dan ibunya.
Pada suatu hari sang ayah sakit dan meninggal dunia. Sejak saat itu, bawang merah dan ibunya memperlakukan bawang putih semakin buruk. Bawang putih hampir tidak pernah istirahat setiap hari. di pagi hari, ia harus bangun untuk mempersiapkan air dan sarapan bagi bawang merah dan ibunya. Kemudian, ia juga harus member makan ternak, mencuci baju, dan bahkan menyirami seluruh kebun. Meskipun pekerjaan yang harus ia kerjakan begitu banyak, namun bawan putih melakukan semua itu dengan gembira. Ia berharap, dengan keikhlasan tersebut, sang ibu mau menyayanginya dengan tulus dan menganggapnya sebagai anak kandung.

Bawang putih kembali lagi ke sungai dan berjalan ke arah barat untuk mencari baju kesayangan ibunya. Ia berjalan menyusuri aliran sungai hingga puluhan kilometer. Setelah itu, bawang putih tiba-tiba melihat seseorang yang sedang memandikan kerbau di sungai. Ia bertanya kepada orang itu mengenai baju yang hanyut. Kemudian, ia mendapat informasi bahwa baju ibu bawang merah hanyut namun baju tersebut tidaklah jauh dari tempatnya berdiri. Saat itu juga, bawang putih segera berlari menyusuri sungai untuk menemukan baju tersebut.
Hari semakin gelap dan bawang putih menemukan sebuah rumah. Karena sangat lelah, ia memutuskan untuk beristirahat sejenak di rumah tersebut. Ternyata, di dalamnya tinggal seorang nenek yang sebelumnya sudah menemukan baju milik ibu bawang putih. Sang nenek ingin mengembalikan baju tersebut kepada bawang putih, dengan syarat bawang putih harus menemaninya selama seminggu. Bawang putih begitu iba dengan nenek tersebut, dan ia setuju untuk tinggal bersama sang nenek selama seminggu. Dalam waktu satu minggu, ia membuat nenek tersebut amat gembira karena bekerja dengan rajin dan tidak pernah mengeluh.
Setelah bawang putih menemani sang nenek selama seminggu, ia diberikan satu buah labu sebagai hadiah. Ketika membuka labu tersebut, ia sangat terkejut karena didalamnya terdapat emas dan permata yang begitu banyak. Ia segera pulang dan memberitahukan kejadian tersebut kepada sang ibu dan juga bawang merah. Namun, emas dan permata yang ia dapatkan segera direbut dan ia dipaksa untuk memberitahukan dimana perhiasan tersebut dapat diperoleh. Bawang putih segera mengatakan bahwa ia mendapatkannya dari seorang nenek yang tinggal di dekat sungai.
Esok hari, bawang merah datang ke rumah nenek tersebut dan tinggal selama satu minggu. Namun, karena bawang merah adalah gadis yang malas, maka sang nenek memberikannya labu yang berbeda dari bawang putih. Bawang merah tidak peduli dan ia segera pulang dan membuka labu tersebut bersama ibunya. Ternyata, isi labu tersebut bukanlah permata atau emas, namun ular berbisa yang menggigit bawang merah dan ibunya. Kedua orang tersebut meninggal karena keserakahannya.
Bawang putih kini hidup sendiri namun ia lebih tenang karena tidak ada lagi orang yang menganggunya. Ia hidup bahagia dengan emas dan permata yang dimilikinya.
Keong Mas

Orang tuanya merupakan bangsawan sehingga ia dapat hidup dengan mewah. Namun, ia merupakan seseorang yang sangat boros dan setiap hari hanya menghambur-hamburkan harta orang tuanya.
Suatu hari, orang tuanya meninggal dunia namun ia tidak peduli dan terus menghabiskan uang seperti sebelumnya. Karena hidupnya begitu boros, maka harta yang ia miliki habis dan ia menjadi seorang pengangguran. Banyak warga yang iba terhadapnya, namun setiap kali ia mendapatkan pekerjaan, ia hanya bermalas-malasan dan membuat ia sering dipecat. Beberapa bulan kemudian, terdapat seorang janda kaya raya yang tertarik dengannya. Ia kemudian menikah dengan janda tersebut. Tentu saja, ia sangat senang karena bisa hidup mewah seperti sebelumnya.
Janda tersebut mempunyai seorang anak perempuan yang sangat rajin dan pandai menenun. Namanya Jambean, seorang gadis yang tenunannya sangat indah dan terkenal di desa tersebut. Namun, Galoran tidak menyukai gadis tersebut, karena sang gadis selalu menegurnya karena selalu bermalas-malasan. Karena begitu benci dengan Jambean, ia mengancam akan menyiksa dan membunuhnya. Ia mengungkapkan rencana tersebut kepada istrinya dan sang istri sangatlah sedih mendengar ancaman tersebut.
Mendengar berita tersebut, Jambean sangat sedih namun ia merelakan dirinya dibunuh oleh sang ayah. Ia berpesan ketika ia telah meninggal, ia ingin agar mayatnya dibuang ke sebuah bendungan dan jangan dikubur di dalam tanah. Setelah meninggal, sang ibu memenuhi permintaan tersebut dengan membawa mayatnya ke bendungan dan menceburkannya. Di dalam bendungan, tubuh dan kepalanya berubah menjadi udang dan siput atau disebut sebagai keong dalam bahasa jawa.
Beberapa tahun kemudian, dua orang janda sedang mencari kayu bakar. Mereka adalah kakak beradik dengan nama Mbok Rondo Sambega dan Mbok Rondo Sembagil. Ketika sedang mencari kayu di hutan, mereka sangat terkejut karena menemukan keong dan siput yang berwarna emas serta sangat indah. Keduanya kemudian membawa keong dan siput tersebut untuk dipelihara di rumah.

Dapur mereka selalu dipenuhi makanan lezat ketika mereka pulang dari bekerja. Mereka sangat heran, dan mereka ingin mengetahui siapa orang yang selalu membuat makanan lezat tersebut. Mereka berpura-pura pergi bekerja dan bersembunyi di belakang rumah. Beberapa saat kemudian, muncullah seorang gadis cantik dari dalam keong tersebut dan ia mulai memasak makanan-makanan lezat.
Kedua janda tersebut kemudian secara diam-diam memegang gadis tersebut dan tidak membiarkannya lagi untuk masuk ke dalam keong. Gadis itu ternyata adalah Jambean yang telah dibunuh oleh ayahnya. Kedua janda tersebut kemudian mengizinkan Jambean untuk tinggal bersama mereka. Karena kepandaiannya dalam menenun, ia sangat terkenal dan seorang pangeran tampan tertarik kepadanya. Pada akhirnya, ia menikah dengan pangeran dan hidup bahagia.
Mouse Deer and Crocodile

I’ll put in my leg and find out.” Of course Mouse Deer didn’t put in his leg. He picked up a stick instead and put one end into the water. Chomp…! Crocodile grabbed the stick and pulled it underwater. Mouse Deer laughed. “Ha… ha…ha… Stupid crocodile! Cant you tell the difference between a stick and a leg?” Then Mouse Deer ran off to drink somewhere else.
In the next day, Mouse Deer wanted to cross the river. He wanted to eat the fruits on the other side of the river. He saw a floating log in the river. He knew that Crocodile looked like a log when he floated. Mouse Deer didn’t want to be eaten by Crocodile when he crosses the river. He had an idea. He called out loud, “Crocodile!” Crocodile rose from the water, “Hello, Mouse Deer. Have you come to be my lunch?” Mouse Deer smiled. “Sorry, not today, Crocodile. I have orders from the King. He wants to invite all the crocodiles in this river to a party. He wants me to count all the crocodiles so he could prepare enough meal for you.”

Pinokio
ReplyDeleteDia di hutan pinus Italia yang besar, kesepian. Dia selalu memimpikan memiliki seorang anak laki-laki.
Setiap hari, ia pergi memotong kayu untuk orang-orang kota. Suatu hari, sebuah ide terlintas dalam pikirannya, sebuah ide membuat sebuah boneka, yang akan ia beri nama Pinokio. Dia membuat boneka itu dan pada malam hari, boneka tersebut menjadi hidup!
Satu tahun kebahagiaan dan ketakutan berlalu, pada hari Minggu pagi, Gepetto berkata pada Pinokio :
"hari ulang tahun saya segera tiba, putra kecilku! Saya harap kamu tidak lupa!"
"Euh, tentu, saya tidak lupa!"
Pinokio merasa canggung. Dia tidak memikirkan hal itu. Ulang tahun Gepetto hanya tiga hari lagi, dan dia bahkan belum punya kado.
Setelah malam yang panjang dan berfikir, Pinokio akhirnya memutuskan untuk membuatkan kue coklat buatannya sendiri untuk Gepetto sebagai hadiah ulang tahunnya.
Ketika matahari terbit, Pinokio sudah siap untuk pergi ke luar untuk mendapatkan bahan-bahannya. Masalah utama ia bahkan tidak tau bahan-bahan dan resepnya.
Jadi sepulang sekolah, ia memutuskan bertanya ke seseorang bahan-bahan untuk membuat kue. Selama perjalanannya, Pinokio, si boneka kayu, bertemu penyihir kota.
"Hei, anak kecil, kamu membutuhkan bantuan untuk kue cokelatmu?"
"Hum ... Anda dapat membantu saya?", Tanya Pinokio.
"Tentu, aku bisa. Ikuti aku!"
Setelah berjalan beberapa menit, Pinokio melihat rumah permen yang sangat besar. Mereka masuk bersama-sama dan Pinokio tertangkap oleh kandang besar.

Pada saat yang sama, penyihir jahat, memanggil semua pasukannya, berlari mengejarnya dan dia mengeluarkan tongkat sihirnya. Iblis jahat mengubah boneka kayu kecil itu menjadi kue cokelat!
Ketika ia kembali ke rumah, dia menceritakan semuanya kepada ayahnya dan mereka pergi mencari peri dewa.
Setelah perjalanan panjang, mereka akhirnya menemukan peri dewa dan mereka mendapatkan ramuan ajaib untuk Pinokio.
Pinocchio

Each day, he went cutting woods for the town’s people. One day, an idea illuminated his mind, the idea of crafting a puppet, which he will call it Pinocchio. He crafted that puppet and during the night, the puppet becomes alive!
One year of happiness and thriller passed, on a Sunday morning, Gepetto told Pinocchio:
"It’s my birthday soon, my little son! I hope you didn’t forget it!"
"Euh, sure, I didn’t!"
Pinocchio felt awkward. He didn’t thought about that. Gepetto’s birthday was coming in only three days, and he hadn’t even a present.
After a long night of reflecting, Pinocchio finally decided to offer a homemade chocolate cake to him as a present.
When the sun rose, Pinocchio was already ready to go outside to find the ingredients. The main problem was he didn’t even known the ingredients and the recipe.
So after school, he decided to go ask someone for the ingredients to bake a cake. During his walk, Pinocchio, the wooden puppet, met the town’s sorcerer.
"Hey, little boy, do you need some help for your chocolate cake?"
"Hum… You can help me?", asked Pinocchio.
"Sure, I can. Follow me!"
After walking few minutes so, Pinocchio saw a big, big, big candy house. They entered together and Pinocchio got caught by a big cage.
"Mouahahaha!!! I finally caught you! You’ll be mine, you’re going to work for me!", said the evil sorcerer.
Pinocchio was so scared. When the guards came and took him out of the cage, he immediately ran away very fast and he succeeded to escape.
At the same time, the evil sorcerer, calling all his troops with him, ran after him and he took out his magic wand. The evil devil changed the little wooden puppet into a chocolate cake!
When he came back home, he told the entire story to his father and they went to find the god fairy.
After a long trip, they finally find the god fairy and they got the magical potion for Pinocchio.
A bear and a lion
ReplyDeleteOne upon a time a lion and a bear caught and killed a goat. They had a quarrel over it.
“It is mine,” said the bear. “I caught it with my strong paws.”
“It is not yours. It is mine,” said the lion. “I killed it with my strong jaws.”
Then they began to fight over it. They ran up and down the hill, under and over the fallen trees, in and out of the forest. They bit and scratched with their strength, but no one could overcome the other.
At last they both were tired out and could fight no longer. They lay upon the ground, panting and looking at each other.
A fox who was passing by at the time saw them with a dead goat near by. She ran up to them, took the goat home and ate it up.

Suatu ketika seekor singa dan seekor beruang menangkap dan mebunuh seekor kambing. Mereka pun berdebat.
“Ini milikku,” kata beruang “Saya menagkapnya dengan kekuatan cakarku.”
“itu bukan milikmu. Itu milikku,” kata singa. “Saya membunuhnya dengan kekuatan rahangku.”
Mereka pun mulai bertengkar. Mereka saling kejar naik turun bukit melewati bawah dan atas batang pohon tumbang, keluar dan masuk hutan. Mereka saling menggigit dan mencakar dengan kekuatan mereka yang mereka miliki, tapi tidak ada yang mampu mengalahkan satu sama lain.
Dan pada akhirnya mereka berdu letih dan tidak bias berkelahi lagi. Mereka berbaring dengan nafas terengah-engah dan saling melihat.
Pada saat yang bersamaan tiba-tiba seekor rubah lewat dan melihat mereka bersama seekor kambing mati di dekatnya. Dia pun mendekat, dan membawa pergi kambing tersebut.
The fools of two men

Once there was a man from Gotham going to market to buy sheep. At gotham bridge, he met a man who had just come back from the market.
“Where are you going?” asked the man who had come back to Gotham.
“I am going to market to buy sheep,” answered the other.
“Which way are you going to bring your sheep home?” asked the first man again.
“Over this bridge,” answered the second man.
“You shall not go over this bridge,” said the first man. “You shall go that way,”
“I will go over this bridge,” said the second man.
“You shall not,” said the first man again.
“But I will,” replied the other.
Soon the two men began to fight. They fought and fought until they both got quite hurt.
How foolish they were! They fought over the sheep which were not here.

Gotham adalah sebuah kota kecil di Inggris.
Suatu hari seorang pria dari Gotham pergi ke pasar untu membeli domba. Pada Jembatan Gotham, di bertemu dengan seorang pria yang baru pulang dari pasar.
“mau kemana?” Tanya pria yang baru pulang dari pasar.
“Saya akan ke pasar untuk membeli domba,” jawabnya
“Jalan yang mana akan kamu lalui untuk membawa dombamu pulang ke rumah?” Tanya pria pertama lagi
“Lewat jembatan ini,” jawab pria kedua
“Kamu tidak boleh melewati jembatan ini,” Kata pria pertama. “kamu harus lewat jalan sana,”
“Saya akan lewat jembatan ini,” kata pria kedua
“Tidak boleh,” kata pria pertama
“tapi saya akan tetap lewat sini,” jawab pria kedua.
Akhirnya keduanya pun bertengkar. Mereka berkelahi dan berkelahi sampai mereka kesakitan.
Betapa bodohnya mereka! Mereka mempermasalahkan jalan yang kakan dilalui domba yang belum ada.
The Legend of Malin Kundang
ReplyDeleteA long time ago, in a small village near the beach in West Sumatra, a woman and her son lived. They were Malin Kundang and her mother. Her mother was a single parent because Malin Kundang's father had passed away when he was a baby. Malin Kundang had to live hard with his mother

Malin Kundang was a healthy, dilligent, and strong boy. He usually went to sea to catch fish. After getting fish he would bring it to his mother, or sold the caught fish in the town. One day, when Malin Kundang was sailing, he saw a merchant's ship which was being raided by a small band of pirates. He helped the merchant. With his brave and power, Malin Kundang defeated the pirates.
The merchant was so happy and thanked to him. In return the merchant asked Malin Kundang to sail with him. To get a better life, Malin Kundang agreed. He left his mother alone. Many years later, Malin Kundang became wealthy. He had a huge ship and was helped by many ship crews loading trading goods. Perfectly he had a beautiful wife too. When he was sailing his trading journey, his ship landed on a beach near a small village. The villagers recognized him. The news ran fast in the town; “Malin Kundang has become rich and now he is here”. An old woman ran to the beach to meet the new rich merchant. She was Malin Kundang’s mother.
She wanted to hug him, released her sadness of being lonely after so long time. Unfortunately, when the mother came, Malin Kundang who was in front of his well dressed wife and his ship crews denied meeting that old lonely woman. For three times her mother begged Malin Kundang and for three times he yelled at her. At last Malin Kundang said to her "Enough, old woman! I have never had a mother like you, a dirty and ugly woman!" After that he ordered his crews to set sail. He would leave the old mother again but in that time she was full of both sadness and angriness. Finally, enraged, she cursed Malin Kundang that he would turn into a stone if he didn't apologize. Malin Kundang just laughed and really set sail

Dia membantu pedagang. Dengan berani dan kekuasaannya, Malin Kundang mengalahkan bajak laut. Pedagang itu sangat senang dan berterima kasih kepadanya. Sebagai imbalannya pedagang meminta Malin Kundang untuk berlayar bersamanya. Untuk mendapatkan kehidupan yang lebih baik, Malin Kundang setuju. Dia meninggalkan ibunya sendirian. Bertahun-tahun kemudian, Malin Kundang menjadi kaya. Dia memiliki kapal besar dan dibantu oleh banyak awak kapal memuat barang dagangan. Sempurna dia punya istri yang cantik juga.

Prabu Tapa Agung had led a kingdom in West Java for a long time. He was getting old and therefore wanted to choose a successor. But unfortunately, he had no son. He thought of choosing one of his daughters, Purbararang and Purbasari. But it wasn’t an easy choice. They were both very pretty and smart. The only difference was their temperament. Purbararang was rude and dishonest, while Purbasari was kind and caring. With those considerations, Prabu Tapa Agung finally chose Purbasari to be his successor.
Purbararang didn’t agree with her father’s decision. “It’s supposed to be me, Father. I’m the eldest daughter!” Purbararang said. Prabu Tapa Agung smiled. “Purbararang, to be a queen takes more than age. There are many other qualities that one must possess,” explained Prabu Tapa Agung wisely. “What does Purbasari have that I don’t?” Purbararang pouted. “You’ll find out when Purbasari has replaced me,” Prabu Tapa Agung answered.
After the discussion, Purbararang went back to her room. “Is there something wrong?” asked Indrajaya. Indrajaya is Purbararang’s future husband. “I’m upset! Father chose Purbasari as his successor and not me! I have to do something!” Purbararang said. Driven mad by her anger, she came to a witch and asked her to send rash all over Purbasari’s body. Before going to bed, Purbasari started to feel itch all over her body. She tried applying powder to her body, but it’s no use. Instead, the itching grew even worse. She didn’t want to scratch it, but she just couldn’t help it. In the next morning, there were scratch mark all over Purbasari’s body. “What happened to you?” asked
Purbararang, pretending to be concerned. “I don’t know, sis. Last night, my body suddenly felt very itchy. I scratched and scratched, and this is what happened,” Purbasari answered. Purbararang shook her head. “You must have done something really awful. You’ve been punished by the gods!”

After a short discussion with his advisor, Prabu Tapa Agung ordered Purbasari to be moved to the woods. Purbasari was very sad, but she couldn’t do anything to defy her father’s order. She was accompanied to the woods by a messenger. He built a simple hut for Purbasari. After the messenger left, suddenly a black monkey came to Purbasari’s hut. He carried a bunch of bananas. From behind him, some animals looked on. “Are the bananas for me?’ Purbasari asked. The black monkey nodded, as if he understood what Purbasari said. Purbasari took the bananas with pleasure. She also said thanks. The other animals that were looking on also seemed to smile. “Are you willing to be my friend?” Purbasari asked them. All the animals nodded happily. Although she was living by herself in the woods, Purbasari never lacked of supplies. Everyday, there were always animals bringing her fruits and fish to eat.
A long time had passed since Purbasari was banished to the woods, but her body still itched. At some places, her skin was even ulcerating. What am I supposed to do?” Purbasari sighed. The monkey who was sitting next to her stayed still, there were tears in his eyes. He hoped Purbasari would remain patient and strong.
One night, on a full moon, the monkey took Purbasari to a valley. There is a pond with hot spring water. The monkey suddenly spoke,
“The water of this pond will heal your skin,” he said. Purbasari was surprised, ”You can talk? Who are you?” she asked. “You’ll find out, in time,” the monkey said. Purbasari didn’t want to force the monkey. She then walked to the pond. She bathed there. After a few hours, Purbasari walked out of the pond. She was shocked to see her face reflected on the clear pond water. Her face was beautiful again, with smooth and clean skin. Purbasari observed her entire body. There were no traces of any skin ailments. “I’m cured! I’m cured!” Purbasari shouted in joy. She quickly offered thanks to the gods and also to the monkey.
ReplyDeleteThe news of Purbasari’s condition quickly spread to the kingdom, irritating Purbararang. She then accompanied by Indrajaya go to the woods to see Purbasari. Purbasari asked if she would be allowed to go home. Purbararang said she would let Purbasari return to the palace if Purbasari’s hair were longer than hers. Purbararang then let her hair down. It was so long, it almost touched the ground. But it turned out that Purbasari’s hair was twice longer than Purbararang’s hair.
“Fine, so your hair is longer than mine.” Purbararang admitted. “But there is one more condition you must fulfill, do you have a future husband who is handsomer than mine?” said Purbararang as she walked toward Indrajaya. Purbasari felt miserable. She didn’t have a future husband yet. So, without much thought, she pulled the black monkey beside her.
Purbararang and Indrajaya burst out, but their laughter didn’t last long. The monkey meditates and suddenly transformed into a very handsome young man, a lot more handsome than Indrajaya. “I’m a prince from a kingdom far away. I was cursed to be a monkey because of a mistake I committed. I could regain my true form only if there’s a girl who would be willing to be my wife,” said the young man.

Monyet yang duduk di sampingnya tinggal diam, ada air mata di matanya . Dia berharap Purbasari akan tetap sabar dan kuat .

Monyet tiba-tiba berbicara , " Air kolam ini akan menyembuhkan kulit Anda , " katanya . Purbasari terkejut , " Anda dapat berbicara ? Siapa kau ? " Tanyanya . " Kau akan tahu , pada waktunya , " kata monyet . Purbasari tidak mau memaksa monyet . Dia kemudian berjalan ke kolam . Dia mandi di sana. Setelah beberapa jam , Purbasari keluar dari kolam. Dia terkejut melihat wajahnya tercermin pada air kolam jernih . Wajahnya cantik lagi , dengan kulit halus dan bersih . Purbasari mengamati seluruh tubuhnya . Tidak ada jejak penyakit kulit apapun. " Saya sembuh ! Aku sembuh ! " Purbasari berteriak dalam sukacita . Dia cepat menawarkan berkat para dewa dan juga untuk monyet .
Kabar kondisi Purbasari dengan cepat menyebar ke kerajaan , menjengkelkan Purbararang . Dia kemudian disertai oleh Indrajaya pergi ke hutan untuk melihat Purbasari . Purbasari bertanya apakah dia akan diizinkan pulang ke rumah . Purbararang mengatakan dia akan membiarkan Purbasari kembali ke istana jika rambut Purbasari yang lebih panjang daripada miliknya . Purbararang kemudian membiarkan rambutnya turun . Itu begitu lama , hampir menyentuh tanah . Tapi ternyata bahwa rambut Purbasari adalah dua kali lebih panjang dari rambut Purbararang itu . " Baik-baik saja , sehingga rambut Anda lebih panjang dari saya . " Purbararang mengakui . " Tapi ada satu syarat lagi yang harus dipenuhi, apakah Anda memiliki calon suami yang tampan dariku ? " Kata Purbararang sambil berjalan menuju Indrajaya . Purbasari merasa sengsara . Dia tidak memiliki calon suami belum. Jadi , tanpa banyak berpikir , ia menarik monyet hitam di sampingnya .

Raden Putra was the king of Jenggala kingdom. He had a beautiful queen and concubine. Unlike the queen, the concubine had bad personalities. She was envious and jealous with the queen, so she planned to make the queen leave the palace. The concubine then asked the royal healer to help her in her plan. One day, the concubine pretended to be ill. Raden Putra called the royal healer to give the concubine treatments. “What is her disease?” Raden Putra asked the royal healer. “I’m very sorry, My Majesty. She is sick because the queen put poison in her meal,” the royal healer lied.
Raden Putra was shock and angry to hear the explanation. He called the queen and asked her if the story was true. Of course the queen denied, but Raden Putra won’t listen. “Please Your Majesty, have mercy. I really didn’t do anything,” cried the queen in her tears. Raden Putra’s anger ended in a decision. The queen should be banished to the woods and terminated. He did not know that the queen was already pregnant. Raden Putra commanded one of his general to do the punishment. The queen was banished to the woods, but the wise general didn’t have the heart to kill her. He built a simple house in the woods for her. On his way back to the palace, he smeared his sword with rabbit blood, so Raden Putra would believe that he had killed the queen.
After the general left, the queen lived by herself in the woods. Several months later, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The baby was named Cindelaras. He grew up as a nice, healthy, and handsome boy. One day, while Cindelaras helped her mother to collect some fire woods, an eagle dropped an egg. Cindelaras brought the egg to be brooded by a chicken behind their house. The egg hatched into a chick and then it slowly became a strong rooster. The rooster is no ordinary rooster. The rooster could sing. Every morning, the rooster woke Cindelaras up with its beautiful song, “My master is Cindelaras. His
house is in the woods. He’s the son of Raden Putra.” The rooster often sang that song.
ReplyDeleteCindelaras always woke up early in the morning and listen happily to his rooster’s song. He didn’t realize the meaning of the song until one day, he started to think. “Who is Raden Putra?” he asked his mother. The queen then told him the whole story. She also told him why they were banned from the kingdom and lived in the woods. Cindelaras was very surprised. He decided to go to the palace to meet the king, his father. Cindelaras asked her mother’s permission to go to the kingdom and to tell the king what really happened. He also brought his rooster that grew bigger and stronger each day.
On his way, Cindelaras stopped at a village. There, he met some people who were involved in cockfighting. They challenge him to see how strong his rooster was. “If your rooster wins, you’ll get a reward,” said the man who challenged him. Cindelaras accepted the challenge. In a few minutes, his rooster defeated the opponent’s rooster. He was challenged again by other man, and one more time, his rooster won. He won again and again.
The news about Cindelaras’ rooster quickly spread to the whole Jenggala kingdom and made Raden Putra curious. So, he invited Cindelaras to the palace. “What is your name, boy?” Raden Putra asked as Cindelaras arrived in the palace. “My name is Cindelaras, Your Majesty,” Cindelaras answered. He felt both thrilled and happy to see Raden Putra.
Raden Putra challenged Cindelaras with one condition. If Raden Putra’s rooster won, Cindelaras’ head would be cut off. But if Cindelaras’ rooster won, Raden Putra would share half of his wealth. Cindelaras accepted the condition. The competition was held in the front yard of the palace. The two roosters fought bravely. But in just a few minutes, Cindelaras’ rooster won the fight! Raden Putra shook his head and stared at Cindelaras from his seat, “That rooster is no ordinary rooster, and the boy is not an ordinaty boy either. Who is he exactly?” he thought. Raden Putra was about to asked when suddenly Cindelaras’ rooster sang the song, “My master is Cindelaras. His house is in the woods. He’s the son of Raden Putra.”
Raden Putra was surprised. “Is it true?” he asked. “Yes, My Majesty. My name is Cindelaras and my mother was the queen,” said

Setelah kiri umum , ratu tinggal sendirian di hutan . Beberapa bulan kemudian , ia melahirkan bayi laki-laki yang sehat . Bayi itu diberi nama Cindelaras . Ia dibesarkan sebagai baik , sehat , dan tampan anak laki-laki . Suatu hari , sementara Cindelaras membantu ibunya untuk mengumpulkan beberapa kebakaran hutan , seekor elang menjatuhkan telur . Dia juga membawa ayam jantan nya yang tumbuh lebih besar dan kuat setiap hari .

Raden Putra sangat terkejut . Dia segera pergi ke hutan untuk mengambil ratu . Sejak saat itu, Cindelaras dan orang tuanya hidup bahagia bersama-sama . Adapun selir , ia dikirim ke penjara sebagai hukuman .
Timun Mas
ReplyDeleteLong time ago in the island of Java, Indonesia, lived a couple of farmer. They had married for some years but they had no children. So they prayed to a monster called Buta Ijo to give them children. Buta Ijo was a ferocious and powerful monster. He granted their wish on one condition. When their children had grown up, they had to sacrifice them to Buta Ijo. He liked eating fresh meat of human being. The farmers agreed to his condition. Several months later the wife was pregnant.
She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. They named her Timun Emas. The farmers were happy. Timun Emas was very healthy and a very smart girl. She was also very diligent. When she was a teenager Buta Ijo came to their house. Timun Emas was frightened so she ran away to hide. The farmers then told Buta Ijo that Timun Emas was still a child. They asked him to postpone. Buta Ijo agreed. He promised to come again. The following year Buta Ijo came again. But again and again their parents said that Timun Emas was still a child.
When the third time Buta Ijo came their parents had prepared something for him. They gave Timun Emas several bamboo needles, seeds of cucumber, dressing and salt.
‘Timun, take these things’
‘What are these things?’
‘These are your weapons. Buta Ijo will chase you. He will eat you alive. So run as fast as you can. And if he will catch you spread this to the ground. Now go!’
Timun Emas was scared so she ran as quickly as she could. When Buta Ijo arrived she was far from home. He was very angry when he realized that his prey had left. So he ran to chase her. He had a sharp nose so he knew what direction his prey ran.
Timun Emas was just a girl while Buta Ijo was a monster so he could easily catch her up. When he was just several steps behind Timun Emas quickly spread the seeds of cucumber. In seconds they turned into many vines of cucumber. The exhausted Buta Ijo was very thirsty so he grabbed and ate them. When Buta Ijo was busy eating cucumber Timun Emas could run away.
But soon Buta Ijo realized and started running again. When he was just several steps behind Timun Emas threw her bamboo needles. Soon they turned into dense bamboo trees. Buta Ijo found it hard to pass. It took him some time to break the dense bamboo forest. Meanwhile Timun Emas could run farther.
Buta Ijo chased her again. When he almost catch her again and again Timun Emas threw her dressing. This time it turned into a lake. Buta Ijo was busy to save himself so Timun Emas ran way. But Buta Ijo could overcome it and continued chasing her.
Finally when Timun Emas was almost caught she threw her salt. Soon the land where Buta Ijo stood turned into ocean. Buta Ijo was drowned and died instantly.
Timun Emas was thankful to god and came back to her home.

Ketika ia masih remaja Buta Ijo datang ke rumah mereka . Timun Emas ketakutan sehingga dia melarikan diri untuk bersembunyi . Para petani kemudian mengatakan Buta Ijo bahwa Timun Emas masih anak-anak. Mereka memintanya untuk menunda . Buta Ijo setuju . Dia berjanji untuk datang lagi . Tahun berikutnya Buta Ijo datang lagi. Tapi lagi dan lagi orang tua mereka mengatakan bahwa Timun Emas masih anak-anak.
Ketika ketiga kalinya Buta Ijo datang orang tua mereka telah mempersiapkan sesuatu untuknya . Mereka memberi Timun Emas beberapa jarum bambu , biji mentimun , saus dan garam .
' Timun , mengambil hal-hal ini '
' Apa ini ? '
' Ini adalah senjata Anda . Buta Ijo akan mengejar Anda . Dia akan makan Anda hidup . Jadi berlari secepat Anda bisa. Dan jika ia akan menangkap Anda menyebarkan ini ke tanah . Sekarang pergi! '
Timun Emas takut sehingga ia berlari secepat yang dia bisa . Ketika Buta Ijo tiba ia jauh dari rumah . Dia sangat marah ketika ia menyadari bahwa mangsanya telah meninggalkan . Jadi dia berlari mengejarnya . Dia memiliki hidung yang tajam sehingga ia tahu apa arah berlari mangsanya .
Timun Emas hanya seorang gadis sementara Buta Ijo adalah rakasa sehingga ia bisa dengan mudah menangkapnya up . Ketika ia hanya beberapa langkah di belakang Timun Emas cepat menyebar benih-benih mentimun . Dalam hitungan detik mereka berubah menjadi banyak tanaman merambat mentimun . The kelelahan Buta Ijo sangat haus sehingga ia meraih dan makan mereka . Ketika Buta Ijo sedang sibuk makan mentimun Timun Emas bisa melarikan diri .
Tapi segera Buta Ijo menyadari dan mulai berlari lagi . Ketika ia hanya beberapa langkah di belakang Timun Emas melemparkan jarum bambu nya . Tak lama kemudian mereka berubah menjadi pohon bambu lebat . Buta Ijo merasa sulit untuk lulus . Ini membawanya beberapa waktu untuk memecahkan hutan bambu lebat . Sementara itu Timun Emas bisa berlari lebih jauh .
Buta Ijo mengejarnya lagi . Ketika ia hampir menangkapnya lagi dan lagi Timun Emas melemparkan riasnya . Kali ini berubah menjadi danau . Buta Ijo sedang sibuk menyelamatkan diri sehingga Timun Emas berlari jalan . Tapi Buta Ijo bisa mengatasinya dan terus mengejarnya .
Akhirnya ketika Timun Emas hampir tertangkap ia melemparkan garam itu . Segera tanah tempat Buta Ijo berdiri berubah menjadi laut . Buta Ijo itu tenggelam dan tewas seketika .
Timun Emas bersyukur kepada Tuhan dan kembali ke rumahnya .
Roro Jonggrang
ReplyDeleteLong time ago, there was a kingdom named Prambanan. All the people of Prambanan lived peacefully. But then, Prambanan kingdom was attacked and occupied by the Pengging kingdom. Prambanan then was ruled by Bandung Bondowoso of Pengging kingdom. He was a mean king. He also had great supernatural power. His soldiers were not only humans, but also genies.
The king of Prambanan had a beautiful daughter named Loro Jonggrang. Bandung Bondowoso fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. “You’re very beautiful. Would you be my queen?” asked Bandung Bondowoso. Loro Jonggrang was shocked. She didn’t like Bandung Bondowoso because he was a mean person. She wanted to refuse, but she afraid that Bandung Bondowoso would be angry and endangered the people of Prambanan. Then, she came up with a plan. “If you want to marry me, you have to build a thousand temples for me in just one night,” said Loro Jonggrang. “What? That’s impossible!” said Bandung Bondowoso. But he did not give up. He consulted with his advisor. “Your Majesty can asked the genies to help built the temples,” said the advisor.
So, Bandung Bondowoso summoned his entire genies soldier and commanded them to help him built a thousand temples. The genies worked in unbelievable speed. Meanwhile, Loro Jonggrang heard from her servant that the building of a thousand temples was almost finished. She was so worried. But again, she came up with a great idea. She asked all of her servants to help her. “Please prepare a lot of straw and mortar. Please hurry up!” said Loro Jonggrang. “Burn the straw and make some noise pounding the mortar, quickly.” All those servants did what Loro Jonggrang ordered them; burning straw and pounding the mortar, making the genies think that the sun is going to rise.
“It’s already dawn. We have to go,” said the leader of the genies to Bandung Bondowoso. All the genies immediately stopped their work and ran for cover from the sun, which they afraid of. They didn’t know that the light was from the fire that burning the straw, not from the sun.
Bandung Bondowoso can’t stop the genies from leaving. He was angry. He knew Loro Jonggrang had just tricked him. “You cannot fool me, Loro Jonggrang. I already have 999 temples. I just need one more temple. Now, I will make you the one-thousandth temple.” He pointed his finger to Loro Jonggrang and said some mantras. Magically, Loro Jonggrang’s body turned into stone. Until now, the temple is still standing in Prambanan area, Central Java. And the temple is called Loro Jonggrang temple.

Andy: It’s alright, could’ve been better. You see, I met this old woman in a grocery store last night. She was so annoying, cutting the line and all, so I kind of told her off. Unfortunately, later did I know she was my girlfriend’s mom. My girl, was waiting for her mom outside, and saw me telling her mother off inside the store through the glass door. I’m doomed man!

Sambutan pagi hari seperti “How are you?” dan “How do you do” sangatlah lazim bagi kalangan orang asing, khususnya para Native Speaker. Namun, untuk kebanyakan orang Indonesia, sapaan “Apa khabar” lebih umum untuk menyapa teman yang sudah lama tidak kita temui, dan kita berharap jawaban yang lebih informatif. Sedangkan sapaan sehari hari cukup dengan “Hi” saja.
Kebiasaan orang asing ini terkadang dianggap lucu atau sedikit janggal, khususnya jika kita ulangi setiap hari. Seakan-akan kita ingin tahu keadaannya secara mendetail tiap harinya.
Dari teks percakapan Bahasa Inggris 2 orang di atas, kita bisa lihat, ada pun kebiasaan para foreigner di mana mereka sangat suka bercerita tentang kejadian sehari sebelumnya yang mereka alami. Apakah cerita itu menarik atau pun tidak, mereka akan senang berbagi pengalaman-pengalaman lucu kepada teman-temannya, bahkan terkadang kepada orang yang mereka baru kenal juga.
Sedikit berbeda dengan kebiasaan orang Indonesia, khususnya di era social media sedang booming-boomingnya, kita lebih senang mengkomunikasikan pengalaman kita di dunia maya, apakah itu lewat Twitter, Facebook, atau pun blogs, dibandingkan dikomunikasikan langsung kepada orang-orang sekitar kita. Jika harus diceritakan secara verbal pun, biasanya kita hanya bercerita kepada teman-teman terdekat saja.
Dari sapaan sederhana, menjadi peluang cerita seru, atau hanya sapaan untuk memulai awal hari dengan formal social pleasantries. Selamat memulai hari dengan How do you dos.

I would like to visit France because i want to see Eiffel Tower as it is the most romantic country in the world. (Ya, aku pernah ke negara lain, seperti Australia, Singapura, dan Jepang. Aku ingin mengunjungi Perancis karena aku ingin melihat Menara Eiffel karena ini adalah negara paling romantis di dunia)

Tony : Ridden kind of animal? Never! I have never ridden any animal, yet i ever ride motorbike. When i was in Bali, i tried to ride motorbike and i had so much fun there, travelled around Bali riding a motorbike. (Menunggangi binatang? Tak pernah! Aku belum pernah menunggangi binatang apapun, tapi aku pernah mengendarai sepeda motor. Saat aku ada di Bali, Aku mencoba mengendarai sepeda motor dan waktuku sangat menyenangkan disana, berkeliling Bali mengendarai sepeda motor)
Libby : Have you travelled by plane or ship? Which do you prefer? (Pernahkan kamu bepergian dengan pesawat atau kapal? Mana yang kamu suka?)
Tony : I have been travelling quite often. For me, travelling by plane is much more convenient. We can have a meal in the plane, put our luggage safely. (Aku sering bepergian. Bagiku, bepergian dengan pesawat jauh lebih nyaman. Kita bisa makan di pesawat, menaruh barang bawaan kita dengan aman).
Libby : Have you ever seen a ghost? Do you believe in ghost? (Pernahkah kamu melihat hantu? Apakah kamu percaya dengan hantu?)

Tony : Sure. I rarely go to Amusement Park but my favourite one is Roller Coaster because i can feel the adrenaline pumped. (Iya, aku pernah. Aku jarang pergi ke taman hiburan tapi favorit aku adalah Roller Coaster karena memacu adrenalin)
Libby : Have you ever broken a bone or been in hospital? (Pernahkah kamu patah tulang atau berada di rumah sakit?)
Tony : Yes, once in a lifetime. I’ve ever broken my right arm. I was climbing the tree and suddenly i fell down and broke my arm. It took three months to recover. (Ya, sekali dalam seumur hidup. Aku pernah patah di lengan kananku. Aku memanjat pohon itu dan tiba-tiba aku jatuh dan mematahkan lenganku. Butuh waktu tiga bulan untuk pulih)

Tony : Feel regret? Yaa, it was a long time ago. I felt regret because one day i yelled to my nephew. At that time, he sobbed and ran to his dad. I felt really sorry and regret about that and i said really sorry about what i had done to him. He forgived me and we played again together. (Merasa menyesal? Ya, sudah lama sekali. Aku merasa menyesal karena suatu hari aku berteriak kepada keponakanku. Saat itu, ia terisak-isak dan berlari ke arah ayahnya. Aku merasa sangat menyesali hal itu dan aku sangat menyesal dengan apa yang telah aku lakukan padanya. Dia memaafkan dan kami bermain lagi bersama)

Tidak begitu tetapi aku melihat Miranda Kerr sekali. Ya ampun, dia sangat cantik. Dia sedang mengenakan gaya yang casual dengan mengenakan celana panjang dan baju kaos)

Tony : I like singing actually, yes i have ever sung on stage, but i don’t play any music. (Aku suka bernyanyi. Ya, aku pernah bernyayi di atas panggung, tetapi aku tidak bermain musik).

A RABBIT AND TWENTY CROCODILES

Once upon a time, a Rabbit wanted to cross a river, but he could not swim. He had an idea, he saw a boss of Crocodiles swimming in the river. The Rabbit asked he cross of crocodile.
“how many crocodile are there in the river?” the boss of crocodile answered, “we are twenty here”.
“where are they?”the Rabbit asked for the second time. “what is it for?” the boss crocodile asked.
“all of you are good, gentle and kind, so I want to make a line in order. Later, I will know how kind you are,” said the Rabbit.
Then the boss of the Crocodiles called all his friend an asked then to make a line in order from one side to the order side of the river. Fust then, the Rabbit started to count while jumping from one crocodile to another: one…two… three… four…until twenty. And finally, he thanked all Crocodiles because he had crossed the river.

KELINCI DAN DUA PULUH BUAYA
Pada suatu hari, seekor Kelinci akan menyeberangi sungai, tapi ia tidak bisa berenang. Dia mempunyai suatu ide. Dia memanggil kepala Buaya yang sedang berenang di sungai. Kelinci bertanya kepada kepala Buaya.
“berapa banyak Buaya disungai ini?”. Kepala Buaya menjawab “kami disini ada dua puluh.”
“dimana mereka?”. Kelinci bertanya untuk keberapa waktu. “untuk apa itu?” kepala Buaya bertanya.
“kamu semua baik, jadi saya mau kalian berbaris secara teratur”.
Kepala Buaya memanggil semua temannya dan berbaris secara teratur. Lalu Kelinci memulai hitungannya dengan meloncat dari satu Buaya ke Buaya yang lain: satu…dua….tiga…empat…sampai dua puluh, dan akhirnya dia berterimakasih ke semua Buaya karena ia bisa menyeberangi sungai.
Pesan yan terdapat dalam fable adalah, bahwa sebelum kita bertindak lebih baik kita berpikir dulu agar kita bisa menyelesaikan masalah yang ada.

I KUCING SOMBONG
ReplyDeleteBeberapa tahun yang lalu, disebuah hutan yang lebat tedapat hewan yang sangat banyak, diantara hewan-hewan yang tinggal, ada seekor kucing sombong yang sangat bersih, berbulu lebat dan halus berwarna putih. Sehingga banyak hewan yang menyukainya, tapi ia terlalu angkuh dan sombong dengan kelebihannya.
Suatu hari sikucing itu ingin hidup sendiri tanpa keluarga kucing, karena ia merasa sudah hebat bertahan hidup sendiri tanpa bantuan keluarganya.
Didalam perjalanannya ia beristirahat berdekatan dengan keluarga ayam. Pada waktu pagi yang cerah, kucing itu marah karena sang ayam telah membangunkan tidurnya, “hai ayam, lancing sekali kamu membangunkanku ditambah lagi dengan anak-anak mu yang jelek”. Keluarga ayam sangat marah, mereka mengusir kucing, dengan perasaan kesal kucing meninggalkan tempat itu.
Dengan perasaan yang begitu lelah kucing tidur diatas pundak gajah, ketika gajah hendak bangun tanpa sengaja gajah menjatuhkan kucing. “hai kau gajah busuk, mengapa kau menjatuhkanku, kau ingin membunuhku?” gajah mendekat dan berkata “oh..kau begitu cantik”. Kucing mencakar gajah, membuat gajah mengamuk sehingga kucing terpelanting olehnya.
Kucing sangat kesal dan lapar, ia mencoba mencari-cari makanan di dalam tanah ia brtemu cacing. “kau kucing yang cantik, tapi mengapa engkau mengambil makananku”. Kucing berkata. “semua hewan mengetahui kecantikanku karena itu aku berhak melakukan sesukaku” lalu cacing berkata “ dasar kucing sombong, apa kau bisa bertahan hidup didalam tanah?”. “hahaha… itu hal kecil”. Kata kucing. Mereka pun membuat kesepakatan.
Akhirnya, setelah sehari kucing didalam tanah sekelompok cacing mencoba melihatnya, namun kucing itu telah mati, beberapa cacing memberitahukan hal ini kepada keluarga kucing. Tapi disaat keluarganya sampai , kucing sombong yang telah mati itu, telah dimakan singa.
Moral : jangan pernah sombong dengan kelebihan yang dimiliki karena setiap orang memiliki kelebihan tersendiri.

SERIGALA DAN BANGAU

Tapi serigala marah. Mulutnya yang begitu besar membuatnya tidak bisa mendapatkan makanan yang ada didalam kendi. Serigala pulang kelaparan dan bangau tertawa dan tertawa.

One day, two duck walked a long the road to go to the lake for their swim. In the middle of the road, they met Mr. fox. He sat under the tree.
“hello, sister. Where are you going? Asked Mr. fox.
“good morning, Mr. fox, we are going to lake over there. We want to swim. Would you like to join us?” asked the ducks.
“no thanks, do you both come a long here every day?” asked Mr. fox.
“yes, we always walk here every morning.” Said the ducks.
“delicious..s I mean nice to see you both,” said Mr. fox.
The next day, the first duck said “are we going to swim today? I bet that Mr. fox is waiting for us and he has a bad plain.
“I know, I have a plan for him too.” Said the second duck.
One their way they met Mr. fox again.
“hello sisters, going to swim again?” asked Mr. fox.
“yes, we are, why don’t you take us to the lake and protect us from bad animals?” said the second duck.
“of course, it’s my pleasure,” replied Mr. fox.
“this is an easy way to have a free lunch. I have a big bag with me now,” though Mr. fox.
Three of them walked to the lake and sang some songs.
“When I say run, let’s run fast together.” Said the second duck. “run!!!”
They ran so fast and jumped into the lake. Mr. fox jumped upon them, but he forgot that he could not swim. So, Mr. fox drowned in the lake. He failed to get his free lunch.
Moral : do not ever intend evil to someone, because evil is self inflicted.
DUA EKOR BEBEK DAN RUBAH
ReplyDeletePada suatu hari, dua ekor bebeb berjalan sepanjang jalan menuju danau untuk berenang. Ditengah perjalanan, mereka bertemu dengan seekor rubah yang sedang duduk di bawah pohon.
Halo, saudaraku, mau kemana?” Tanya rubah.
Selamat pagi, rubah, kami ingin ke danau sana, kami ingin berenang, maukah kamu ikut bersama kami?” Tanya bebek.
“tidak terima kasih, apakah kalian berdua selalu bersama lewat disini setiap hari?” Tanya rubah.
“ya, kami selalu lewat disini setiap hari” jawab bebek.
Lezzat…. Maksud saya senang bertemu dengan kalian” kata rubah.
Keesokan harinya, bebek pertama “apakah kita pergi berenang hari ini? Saya rasa rubah menantikan kedatangan kita dan dia memiliki rencana yang tidak baik.”
“saya tahu , saya juga punya rencana untuknya.” Kata bebeb kedua.
Didalam perjalanan, mereka bertemu lagi dengan rubah.
“hallo sobat, pergi berenang lagikah?” Tanya rubah.
“ya.. maukah kamu ikut bersama kami dan melindungi kami dari binatang-binatang jahat?” kata bebek kedua.
“tentu, dengan senang hati,” jawab rubah. “wow ini memudahkan lagi untuk dapat makanan siang.” Pikir rubah.
Mereka bertiga berjalan beriringan sambil menyanyikan lagu.
“saat saya bilang lari, kita harus berlari dengan cepat.” Kata bebek kedua, “lari!!!”
Merekapun segera berlari cepat melompat kedanau. Sang rubah juga ikut melompat mengejar mereka, tetapi dia lupa bahwa dia tidak bisa berenang. Akhirnya sang rubah pun tenggelam dan gagal mendapatkan makan siang.
Moral: jangan pernah berniat jahat ke seseorang, sebab kejahatan menimbulkan malapetaka bagi diri sendiri
THE LONELY LANDY

One day, there was a porcupine named landy. He was lonely. No one wanted to play with him, because they afraid of his spikes.
“dear landy, we don’t want to play with you because your spikes are too sharp. We don’t want you to hurt us,” said cici the rabbit one day.
“cici is right, landy, it is not because you’re bad or rude to us, no, landy, just because of your spikes. They will stab us if we are close to you.” Said tito the rooster.
Landy felt lonely. Landy spent most of the time day dreaming at the river bank. “I would be happy if there were no spikes on my body.”
Suddenly, kuku the turtle appeared from the river. He came to landy and said, “landy, what are you thinking of?”
“oh, nothing.” Landy replied.
“don’t lie to me, landy! Who knows I can help you.” Said kuku wisely. Then he sat beside landy. He wasn’t afraid of landy’s spikes.
Shortly, landy told his problem. Kuku nodded his head. He said. “poor you, but it isn’t your fault. I know your spikes are very usefull and helpful for you. They will realize it someday, trust me!”
Thanks, kuku, you are my best friend.”
One day, koko the frog held his birthday party. He invited all his friends, including landy. But he decided not to com. He didn’t want to mess up the party.
“I’ll come with you landy. I’ll tell everyone that you’re harmless.” Said kuku, finally landy attended the party. Everyone enjoyed it.
Suddenly tito screamed, “help…help…! The evil wolf is coming. Save yourself!” then, everyone saved their lives, except kuku and landy. Kuku pulled his head and his leg into his shell. And landy rolled his body into a ball.
Unintentionally, the evil wolf touched landy. Of course, the spikes pricked him. He screamed. “ouch!” since his foot was bleeding, he didn’t chase landy’s friend any longer. Then, he ran away.
“horray… horray…! Long live landy! He saved our lives.” Said cici and her friends. They thanked him from then on. Landy wasn’t lonely anymore.

LANDAK YANG KESEPIAN
ReplyDeleteSuatu hari, hiduplah seekor landak bernama landy. Dia selalu kesepian. Satupun tidak ada yang ingin bermain dengannya. Karena mereka takut dengan duri-durinya.
“landy, sayang, kita tidak ingin bermain dengan mu karena duri-durimu dapat menusuk kami. Kita tidak ingin kamu menyakiti kami.” Kata cici si kelinci pada suatu hari.
“cici benar, landy, kamu jelek dan kasar juga disebabkan karena duri-durimu.” Kata tito si ayam jago.
Landy merasa kesepian. Landy pun melamun ditepi sungai. “saya akan bahagia jika duri-duri ini tidak ada di tubuhku.”
Tiba-tiba kuku si kura-kura muncul dar sungai. Dia datang kepada landy dan berkata. “landy, apa yang kamu pikirkan?”
“oh tidak ada.” Balas landy.
“jangan bohong padaku, landy! Saya bisa menolongmu.” Kata kuku denga bijaksana. Lalu dia pun duduk disamping landy. Dia tidak takut dengan duri-duri landy.
Tak lama, landypun menceritakan masalahnya. Kuku menganggukkan kepalanya. Dia beerkata, “kasihan kamu, tapi itu bukan kesalahanmu, saya tahu, duri-durimu sangat berguna dan dapat menolongmu. suatu hari nanti mereka akan menerima kenyataan itu. Percayalah kepadaku!”.
“terima kasih kuku, kamu teman terbaikku”.
Suatu hari, koko si katak mengadakan pesta ulang tahunnya. Dia mengundang semua teman-temannya, termasuk landy. Tetapi dia memutuskan untuk tidak datang. Dia tidak ingin merusak pesta itu.
“saya akan datang denganmu,Landy. Saya akan menceritakan kepada semua orang kalau kamu tidak berbahaya,” kata kuku. Akhirnya landy menghadiri pesta itu. Semuanya menikmati pesta itu.
Tiba-tiba tito berteriak, “ tolong…tolong…! Serigala jahat dantang. Ayo bersembunyi!” lalu semuanya bersembunyi, kecualli kuku dan landy. Kuku menari kepala dan kakinya untuk masuk kedalam cangkangnya dan landy menggulung tubuhnya dan membentuk bola.
Tak sengaja, serigala jahat menyentuh landy. Tentu saja duri-duri itu menusuknya. Dia berteriak, “ouch!” sejak itu juga kakinya berdarah, tidak dapat memburu teman-teman landy lagi. Lalu, dia pun berlari jauh.
“hore…hore…! Hidup landy! Semuanya keluar dari persembunyian” kata cici dan teman-temannya. Mereka berterima kasih kepada landy. Landy pun akhirnya tidak kesepian lagi.

ReplyDeleteA greedy mouse saw a basket full of corn. He wanted to eat it. So he made a small hole in the basket. He squeezed in through the hole. He ate a lot of corn. He felt full. He was very happy.
Now he wanted to come out. He tried to come out through the small hole. He could not. His belly was full. He tried again. But it was of no use.
The mouse started crying. A rabbit was passing by. It heard the mouse’s cry and asked: “Why are you crying my friend?”
The mouse explained: “I made a small hole and came into the basket. Now I am not able to get out through that hole.”
The rabbit said: “It is because you ate too much. Wait til your belly shrinks”. The rabbit laughed and went away.

A Town Mouse and a Country Mouse were friends. The Country Mouse one day invited his friend to come and see him at his home in the fields. The Town Mouse came and they sat down to a dinner of barleycorns and roots the latter of which had a distinctly earthy flavour.
The flavour was not much to the taste of the guest and presently he broke out with “My poor dear friend, you live here no better than the ants. Now, you should just see how I fare! My larder is a regular horn of plenty. You must come and stay with me and I promise you shall live on the fat of the land.”
So when he returned to town he took the Country Mouse with him and showed him into a larder containing flour and oatmeal and figs and honey and dates.
The Country Mouse had never seen anything like it and sat down to enjoy the luxuries his friend provided. But before they had well begun, the door of the larder opened and some one came in. The two Mice scampered off and hid themselves in a narrow and exceedingly uncomfortable hole. Presently, when all was quiet, they ventured out again. But some one else came in, and off they scuttled again. This was too much for the visitor. “Good bye,” said he, “I’m off. You live in the lap of luxury, I can see, but you are surrounded by dangers whereas at home I can enjoy my simple dinner of roots and corn in peace.”

Sekarang, kamu hanya harus melihat bagaimana saya makan dengan kenyang! Lemari makan saya terbuat dari tanduk yang banyak. Kamu harus datang dan tinggal dengan saya dan saya berjanji akan hidup pada tanah yang luas. Jadi, ketika ia kembali ke kota ia mengajak tikus desa dan menunjukkan ke lemari makan yang berisi tepung dan oatmeal dan buah ara dan madu dan biji-bijian.
Tikus desa belum pernah melihat sesuatu seperti itu dan duduk untuk menikmati kemewahan yang disediakan oleh temannya. Tapi kelinci itu berkata, “Kamu terlalu besar untuk bermain di lubang saya!” Kemudian gajah bertemu kodok.

After Bawang Putih’s mother died, her house was visited frequently by a widow who had a daughter named Bawang Merah. He asked for consideration of the proposal to Bawang Putih. After being allowed to get married by Bawang Putih, then her father immediately carried out the marriage. They become a new family and lived in a house. At first, the mother and Bawang Merah’s behaved Bawang Putih very well. However, the good behavior did not to be last long. Soon, the Bawang Merah and her mother began to show their bad attitude. Bawang Putih was often scolded and given heavy works when the father went to trade. She had to do a lot of housework while the Bawang Merahs just sit and did not work at all. However, the situation was never told by her to his father, so the Bawang Putih continued to be treated badly by Bawang Merah’s and her mother.
One day, his father was sick and passed away. Since then, Bawang Putih was treated worse than before. Bawang Putih almost never had a break every day. In the morning, she had to get up in order to prepare breakfast and the water for Bawang Merah and her mother. Later, she also gave eating to the livestock, washing clothes, and even watering the entire garden. Although she should do so many works, she always did it happily. She hoped, with such sincerity, her mother would love her sincerely someday.
On the morning, Bawang Putih went to the river to wash the clothes. She was so excited and washed vigorously. Because of getting too excited, she was not aware that there was a shirt that washed away. She realized that the shirt had been washed away when the flow carried it far enough. Later, she pursued but did not get the shirt. She felt hopeless and immediately went home.
The shirt was her mother's favorite. Of course, the mother was angry and told her to look for the shirt until she could found it. Bawang Putih came back to the river and walked to the west to seek her mother's favorite shirt. She walked along the river up to tens of kilometers. After that, Bawang Putih suddenly saw someone who was bathing the buffalo in the river. She asked the man about the clothes were washed away. Later, she was informed that the shirt drifting and it was not far from where she was standing. At that moment, Bawang Putih immediately ran down the river to find the shirt.
ReplyDeleteIt was getting dark and the Bawang Putih found a home. Because of completely exhausted, she decided to take a break in the house. Apparently, it housed an old lady who had previously found the shirt. The old lady wanted to return the shirt to her, but she should accompany the old lady during a week. She agreed to stay with the lady for a week. Within a week, she made the old lady to be so happy because she was diligent and never complained even though felt so tired.
After accompanying for a week, she was given a pumpkin as the gift. When opening it, she was very surprised because there were so much gold and gems. She immediately went home and told the happening to her mother and also Bawang Merah. However, the gold and jewels that she got immediately seized and she was forced to tell where the jewelry could be obtained. Bawang Putih immediately said that she got it from an old lady who lived near the river.
In the next day, Bawang Merah came to that house and stayed for a week like what Bawang Putih did. However, because Bawang Merah was a lazy girl, the old lady gave a different pumpkin from Bawang Putih. Bawang Merah did not care and Bawang Merah immediately went home to open the pumpkin with her mother. Apparently, the content was not gems or gold, but the venomous snake that bit of Bawang Merah and the mother. Both of them died because of their greed.
After the happening, Bawang Putih was living alone, but she was more calm and lived happily with its gold and gems.
The Golden Slug (Keong Mas)
ReplyDeleteIn the ancient time, lived a young man named Galoran. He was respected because of his wealth and honor. His parents were nobleman so he could live with luxury. However, he was very wasteful and every day just squandered the wealth of his parents.
One day, his parents died, but he did not care and continued to spend money as well as before. Because his life was so extravagant, all the treasure that he had was running out and he became an unemployed person. Many people sympathized with him and offered a job. But every time he got the job, he just dallied and it made him always be fired. Several months later, there was a wealthy widow who interested him. He married the widow and of course, he was very happy to be living in luxury again.
The widow had a daughter who was very diligent and clever to weave. Her name is Jambean, a beautiful girl and had been famous because of her weaving. However, Galoran did not like the girl, because the girl often scolded him because of his laziness. Finally, he threatened to torture and kill Jambean. He revealed the plan to his wife and the wife was very sad to hear of the threat.
Hearing the news, Jambean was very sad but she volunteered herself to be killed by her father. She told that she wanted to be dumped into a dam and did not burry under the ground after the death. The mother agreed and did all of her wants. In the dam, her body and head suddenly turned into the golden slugs.
ReplyDeleteSeveral years later, there are two widows who were looking for firewood. They were kindred, the first widow named Mbok Sambega Rondo and the second called Mbok Rondo Sembagil. When looking for the firewood in the jungle, they were very surprised because of finding the beautiful golden slugs. They brought it and maintained at home.
Once they brought the snails, there was always a miracle every day. Their kitchen was always filled with the delicious food when they came home from work. They were very surprised, and wanted to know the person who made those foods. They pretended to go to work and hid in the back of the house. A few moments later, there was a beautiful girl came from the inside of the conch and she began to cook the delicious meals.
Both widows then secretly held and did not let the girl to get into the snail anymore. The girl apparently was Jambean who had been killed by her father. Both widows then allowed her to stay with them. Because of their versatility in weaving, she got her famous back and made a handsome prince attracted. In the end, she married the prince and lived happily.
Mouse Deer and Crocodile
ReplyDeleteOne day, Mouse Deer went down to the river to take a drink. But he knew that the crocodile might be waiting underwater to eat him, so he said out loud. “I wonder if the water’s warm. I’ll put in my leg and find out.” Of course Mouse Deer didn’t put in his leg. He picked up a stick instead and put one end into the water. Chomp…! Crocodile grabbed the stick and pulled it underwater. Mouse Deer laughed. “Ha… ha…ha… Stupid crocodile! Cant you tell the difference between a stick and a leg?” Then Mouse Deer ran off to drink somewhere else.
In the next day, Mouse Deer wanted to cross the river. He wanted to eat the fruits on the other side of the river. He saw a floating log in the river. He knew that Crocodile looked like a log when he floated. Mouse Deer didn’t want to be eaten by Crocodile when he crosses the river. He had an idea. He called out loud, “Crocodile!” Crocodile rose from the water, “Hello, Mouse Deer. Have you come to be my lunch?” Mouse Deer smiled. “Sorry, not today, Crocodile. I have orders from the King. He wants to invite all the crocodiles in this river to a party. He wants me to count all the crocodiles so he could prepare enough meal for you.”
“Really…? Tell us what to do,” said Crocodile. “You must line up from this side of the river to the other side,” said Mouse Deer. Crocodile then got all his friends and family. They lined up across the river. Mouse Deer then jumped onto Crocodile’s back. “One,” he counted. He jumped onto the next crocodile, “Two.” And the next crocodile, “Three.” Mouse Deer kept jumping until he arrived on the other side of the river. “How many are there?” asked Crocodile. “Just enough,” said Mouse Deer. He laughed as he ran to the forest.***

He great Italian pine forest, was lonely. He always dreamed about having a son.
Each day, he went cutting woods for the town’s people. One day, an idea illuminated his mind, the idea of crafting a puppet, which he will call it Pinocchio. He crafted that puppet and during the night, the puppet becomes alive!
One year of happiness and thriller passed, on a Sunday morning, Gepetto told Pinocchio:
"It’s my birthday soon, my little son! I hope you didn’t forget it!"
"Euh, sure, I didn’t!"
Pinocchio felt awkward. He didn’t thought about that. Gepetto’s birthday was coming in only three days, and he hadn’t even a present.
After a long night of reflecting, Pinocchio finally decided to offer a homemade chocolate cake to him as a present.
When the sun rose, Pinocchio was already ready to go outside to find the ingredients. The main problem was he didn’t even known the ingredients and the recipe.
So after school, he decided to go ask someone for the ingredients to bake a cake. During his walk, Pinocchio, the wooden puppet, met the town’s sorcerer.
"Hey, little boy, do you need some help for your chocolate cake?"
"Hum… You can help me?", asked Pinocchio.
"Sure, I can. Follow me!"
After walking few minutes so, Pinocchio saw a big, big, big candy house. They entered together and Pinocchio got caught by a big cage.
"Mouahahaha!!! I finally caught you! You’ll be mine, you’re going to work for me!", said the evil sorcerer.
Pinocchio was so scared. When the guards came and took him out of the cage, he immediately ran away very fast and he succeeded to escape.
At the same time, the evil sorcerer, calling all his troops with him, ran after him and he took out his magic wand. The evil devil changed the little wooden puppet into a chocolate cake!
When he came back home, he told the entire story to his father and they went to find the god fairy.
After a long trip, they finally find the god fairy and they got the magical potion for Pinocchio.
Snow White

One day she heard her aunt and uncle talking about leaving Snow White in the castle because they wanted to go to America and they didn't have enough money to take Snow White with them.
Snow White didn't want her uncle and aunt to do this. So she decided to run away. The next morning she run away from home when her aunt and uncle were having breakfast, she run away into the wood.
In the wood she felt very tired and hungry. Then she saw this cottage. She knocked but no one answered so she went inside and felt asleep
Meanwhile seven dwarfs were coming home from work. They went inside. There, they found Snow White woke up. She saw the dwarfs. The dwarfs said; “What is your name?”. Snow White said; “My name is Snow White”. One of the dwarfs said; “If you wish, you may live here with us”. Snow White told the whole story about her. Then Snow white and the seven dwarfs lived happily ever after.

Salju tidak ingin paman dan bibinya untuk melakukan hal ini . Jadi, dia memutuskan untuk melarikan diri . Keesokan harinya dia lari dari rumah ketika bibi dan pamannya sedang sarapan , ia melarikan diri ke dalam hutan .
Dalam kayu ia merasa sangat lelah dan lapar . Lalu ia melihat pondok ini . Dia mengetuk tapi tidak ada yang menjawab jadi dia masuk ke dalam dan merasa tertidur
Sementara tujuh kurcaci datang pulang dari kerja . Mereka masuk ke dalam. Di sana, mereka menemukan Putri Salju terbangun . Dia melihat kerdil . Para kurcaci mengatakan , " Siapa namamu ? " . A bear and a lion

“It is mine,” said the bear. “I caught it with my strong paws.”
“It is not yours. It is mine,” said the lion. “I killed it with my strong jaws.”
Then they began to fight over it. They ran up and down the hill, under and over the fallen trees, in and out of the forest. They bit and scratched with their strength, but no one could overcome the other.
At last they both were tired out and could fight no longer. They lay upon the ground, panting and looking at each other.
A fox who was passing by at the time saw them with a dead goat near by. She ran up to them, took the goat home and ate it up.

Mereka pun mulai bertengkar. Mereka saling kejar naik turun bukit melewati bawah dan atas batang pohon tumbang, keluar dan masuk hutan. Mereka saling menggigit dan mencakar dengan kekuatan mereka yang mereka miliki, tapi tidak ada yang mampu mengalahkan satu sama lain.
Dan pada akhirnya mereka berdu letih dan tidak bias berkelahi lagi. Mereka berbaring dengan nafas terengah-engah dan saling melihat.
Pada saat yang bersamaan tiba-tiba seekor rubah lewat dan melihat mereka bersama seekor kambing mati di dekatnya. Dia pun mendekat, dan membawa pergi kambing tersebut.
The fools of two men

Once there was a man from Gotham going to market to buy sheep. At gotham bridge, he met a man who had just come back from the market.
“Where are you going?” asked the man who had come back to Gotham.
“I am going to market to buy sheep,” answered the other.
“Which way are you going to bring your sheep home?” asked the first man again.
“Over this bridge,” answered the second man.
“You shall not go over this bridge,” said the first man. “You shall go that way,”
“I will go over this bridge,” said the second man.
“You shall not,” said the first man again.
“But I will,” replied the other.
Soon the two men began to fight. They fought and fought until they both got quite hurt.
How foolish they were! They fought over the sheep which were not here.

“Tidak boleh,” kata pria pertama
“tapi saya akan tetap lewat sini,” jawab pria kedua.
Akhirnya keduanya pun bertengkar. Mereka berkelahi dan berkelahi sampai mereka kesakitan.
Betapa bodohnya mereka! Mereka mempermasalahkan jalan yang kakan dilalui domba yang belum ada.

A long time ago, in a small village near the beach in West Sumatra, a woman and her son lived. They were Malin Kundang and her mother. Her mother was a single parent because Malin Kundang's father had passed away when he was a baby. Malin Kundang had to live hard with his mother

Malin Kundang was a healthy, dilligent, and strong boy. He usually went to sea to catch fish. After getting fish he would bring it to his mother, or sold the caught fish in the town. One day, when Malin Kundang was sailing, he saw a merchant's ship which was being raided by a small band of pirates. He helped the merchant. With his brave and power, Malin Kundang defeated the pirates.
The merchant was so happy and thanked to him. In return the merchant asked Malin Kundang to sail with him. To get a better life, Malin Kundang agreed. He left his mother alone. Many years later, Malin Kundang became wealthy. He had a huge ship and was helped by many ship crews loading trading goods. Perfectly he had a beautiful wife too. When he was sailing his trading journey, his ship landed on a beach near a small village. The villagers recognized him. The news ran fast in the town; “Malin Kundang has become rich and now he is here”. An old woman ran to the beach to meet the new rich merchant. She was Malin Kundang’s mother.
She wanted to hug him, released her sadness of being lonely after so long time. Unfortunately, when the mother came, Malin Kundang who was in front of his well dressed wife and his ship crews denied meeting that old lonely woman. For three times her mother begged Malin Kundang and for three times he yelled at her. At last Malin Kundang said to her "Enough, old woman! I have never had a mother like you, a dirty and ugly woman!" After that he ordered his crews to set sail. He would leave the old mother again but in that time she was full of both sadness and angriness. Finally, enraged, she cursed Malin Kundang that he would turn into a stone if he didn't apologize. Malin Kundang just laughed and really set sail
.
In the quiet sea, suddenly a thunderstorm came. His huge ship was wrecked and it was too late for Malin Kundang to apologize. He was thrown by the wave out of his ship. He fell on a small island. It was really too late for him to avoid his curse. Suddenly,
he turned into a stone.
Lutung Kasarung

Prabu Tapa Agung had led a kingdom in West Java for a long time. He was getting old and therefore wanted to choose a successor. But unfortunately, he had no son. He thought of choosing one of his daughters, Purbararang and Purbasari. But it wasn’t an easy choice. They were both very pretty and smart. The only difference was their temperament. Purbararang was rude and dishonest, while Purbasari was kind and caring. With those considerations, Prabu Tapa Agung finally chose Purbasari to be his successor.
Purbararang didn’t agree with her father’s decision. “It’s supposed to be me, Father. I’m the eldest daughter!” Purbararang said. Prabu Tapa Agung smiled. “Purbararang, to be a queen takes more than age. There are many other qualities that one must possess,” explained Prabu Tapa Agung wisely. “What does Purbasari have that I don’t?” Purbararang pouted. “You’ll find out when Purbasari has replaced me,” Prabu Tapa Agung answered.
After the discussion, Purbararang went back to her room. “Is there something wrong?” asked Indrajaya. Indrajaya is Purbararang’s future husband. “I’m upset! Father chose Purbasari as his successor and not me! I have to do something!” Purbararang said. Driven mad by her anger, she came to a witch and asked her to send rash all over Purbasari’s body. Before going to bed, Purbasari started to feel itch all over her body. She tried applying powder to her body, but it’s no use. Instead, the itching grew even worse. She didn’t want to scratch it, but she just couldn’t help it. In the next morning, there were scratch mark all over Purbasari’s body. “What happened to you?” asked Purbararang, pretending to be concerned. “I don’t know, sis. Last night, my body suddenly felt very itchy. I scratched and scratched, and this is what happened,” Purbasari answered. Purbararang shook her head. “You must have done something really awful. You’ve been punished by the gods!”
That day, the whole kingdom was scandalized. “What have you done, Purbasari?” demanded Prabu Tapa Agung. Purbasari shook her head. “I didn’t do anything that would upset the gods, Father,” she answered. “Then how can you explain what happened to your body?” Prabu Tapa Agung asked again. “If you don’t confess, I’ll banish you to the woods.” Purbasari took a deep breath. “Like I said before, I didn’t do anything wrong. After a short discussion with his advisor, Prabu Tapa Agung ordered Purbasari to be moved to the woods. Purbasari was very sad, but she couldn’t do anything to defy her father’s order. She was accompanied to the woods by a messenger. He built a simple hut for Purbasari. After the messenger left, suddenly a black monkey came to Purbasari’s hut. He carried a bunch of bananas. From behind him, some animals looked on. “Are the bananas for me?’ Purbasari asked. The black monkey nodded, as if he understood what Purbasari said. Purbasari took the bananas with pleasure. She also said thanks. The other animals that were looking on also seemed to smile. “Are you willing to be my friend?” Purbasari asked them. All the animals nodded happily. Although she was living by herself in the woods, Purbasari never lacked of supplies. Everyday, there were always animals bringing her fruits and fish to eat.
A long time had passed since Purbasari was banished to the woods, but her body still itched. At some places, her skin was even ulcerating. What am I supposed to do?” Purbasari sighed. The monkey who was sitting next to her stayed still, there were tears in his eyes. He hoped Purbasari would remain patient and strong.
ReplyDeleteOne night, on a full moon, the monkey took Purbasari to a valley. There is a pond with hot spring water. The monkey suddenly spoke, “The water of this pond will heal your skin,” he said. Purbasari was surprised, ”You can talk? Who are you?” she asked. “You’ll find out, in time,” the monkey said. Purbasari didn’t want to force the monkey. She then walked to the pond. She bathed there. After a few hours, Purbasari walked out of the pond. She was shocked to see her face reflected on the clear pond water. Her face was beautiful again, with smooth and clean skin. Purbasari observed her entire body. There were no traces of any skin ailments. “I’m cured! I’m cured!” Purbasari shouted in joy. She quickly offered thanks to the gods and also to the monkey.
The news of Purbasari’s condition quickly spread to the kingdom, irritating Purbararang. She then accompanied by Indrajaya go to the woods to see Purbasari. Purbasari asked if she would be allowed to go home. Purbararang said she would let Purbasari return to the palace if Purbasari’s hair were longer than hers. Purbararang then let her hair down. It was so long, it almost touched the ground. But it turned out that Purbasari’s hair was twice longer than Purbararang’s hair.
“Fine, so your hair is longer than mine.” Purbararang admitted. “But there is one more condition you must fulfill, do you have a future husband who is handsomer than mine?” said Purbararang as she walked toward Indrajaya. Purbasari felt miserable. She didn’t have a future husband yet. So, without much thought, she pulled the black monkey beside her.
Purbararang and Indrajaya burst out, but their laughter didn’t last long. The monkey meditates and suddenly transformed into a very handsome young man, a lot more handsome than Indrajaya. “I’m a prince from a kingdom far away. I was cursed to be a monkey because of a mistake I committed. I could regain my true form only if there’s a girl who would be willing to be my wife,” said the young man.
Finally, Purbararang gave up. She accepted Purbasari as the queen, and also confessed everything she had done. “Please forgive me. Please don’t punish me,” Purbararang said, asking for forgiveness. Instead of being angry, Purbasari smiled. “I forgive you, sis,” she said. Soon after, Purbasari become queen. Beside her was the handsome prince, the former monkey known as Lutung Kasarung.
Cindelaras

Raden Putra was the king of Jenggala kingdom. He had a beautiful queen and concubine. Unlike the queen, the concubine had bad personalities. She was envious and jealous with the queen, so she planned to make the queen leave the palace. The concubine then asked the royal healer to help her in her plan. One day, the concubine pretended to be ill. Raden Putra called the royal healer to give the concubine treatments. “What is her disease?” Raden Putra asked the royal healer. “I’m very sorry, My Majesty. She is sick because the queen put poison in her meal,” the royal healer lied.
Raden Putra was shock and angry to hear the explanation. He called the queen and asked her if the story was true. Of course the queen denied, but Raden Putra won’t listen. “Please Your Majesty, have mercy. I really didn’t do anything,” cried the queen in her tears. Raden Putra’s anger ended in a decision. The queen should be banished to the woods and terminated. He did not know that the queen was already pregnant. Raden Putra commanded one of his general to do the punishment. The queen was banished to the woods, but the wise general didn’t have the heart to kill her. He built a simple house in the woods for her. On his way back to the palace, he smeared his sword with rabbit blood, so Raden Putra would believe that he had killed the queen.
After the general left, the queen lived by herself in the woods. Several months later, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The baby was named Cindelaras. He grew up as a nice, healthy, and handsome boy. One day, while Cindelaras helped her mother to collect some fire woods, an eagle dropped an egg. Cindelaras brought the egg to be brooded by a chicken behind their house. The egg hatched into a chick and then it slowly became a strong rooster. The rooster is no ordinary rooster. The rooster could sing. Every morning, the rooster woke Cindelaras up with its beautiful song, “My master is Cindelaras. His house is in the woods. He’s the son of Raden Putra.” The rooster often sang that song.
Cindelaras always woke up early in the morning and listen happily to his rooster’s song. He didn’t realize the meaning of the song until one day, he started to think. “Who is Raden Putra?” he asked his mother. The queen then told him the whole story. She also told him why they were banned from the kingdom and lived in the woods. Cindelaras was very surprised. He decided to go to the palace to meet the king, his father. Cindelaras asked her mother’s permission to go to the kingdom and to tell the king what really happened. He also brought his rooster that grew bigger and stronger each day.
On his way, Cindelaras stopped at a village. There, he met some people who were involved in cockfighting. They challenge him to see how strong his rooster was. “If your rooster wins, you’ll get a reward,” said the man who challenged him. Cindelaras accepted the challenge. In a few minutes, his rooster defeated the opponent’s rooster. He was challenged again by other man, and one more time, his rooster won. He won again and again.
The news about Cindelaras’ rooster quickly spread to the whole Jenggala kingdom and made Raden Putra curious. So, he invited Cindelaras to the palace. “What is your name, boy?” Raden Putra asked as Cindelaras arrived in the palace. “My name is Cindelaras, Your Majesty,” Cindelaras answered. He felt both thrilled and happy to see Raden Putra.
ReplyDeleteRaden Putra challenged Cindelaras with one condition. If Raden Putra’s rooster won, Cindelaras’ head would be cut off. But if Cindelaras’ rooster won, Raden Putra would share half of his wealth. Cindelaras accepted the condition. The competition was held in the front yard of the palace. The two roosters fought bravely. But in just a few minutes, Cindelaras’ rooster won the fight! Raden Putra shook his head and stared at Cindelaras from his seat, “That rooster is no ordinary rooster, and the boy is not an ordinaty boy either. Who is he exactly?” he thought. Raden Putra was about to asked when suddenly Cindelaras’ rooster sang the song, “My master is Cindelaras. His house is in the woods. He’s the son of Raden Putra.”

Roro Jonggrang
ReplyDeleteLong time ago, there was a kingdom named Prambanan. All the people of Prambanan lived peacefully. But then, Prambanan kingdom was attacked and occupied by the Pengging kingdom. Prambanan then was ruled by Bandung Bondowoso of Pengging kingdom. He was a mean king. He also had great supernatural power. His soldiers were not only humans, but also genies.
The king of Prambanan had a beautiful daughter named Loro Jonggrang. Bandung Bondowoso fell in love with her and wanted to marry her. “You’re very beautiful. Would you be my queen?” asked Bandung Bondowoso. Loro Jonggrang was shocked. She didn’t like Bandung Bondowoso because he was a mean person. She wanted to refuse, but she afraid that Bandung Bondowoso would be angry and endangered the people of Prambanan. Then, she came up with a plan. “If you want to marry me, you have to build a thousand temples for me in just one night,” said Loro Jonggrang. “What? That’s impossible!” said Bandung Bondowoso. But he did not give up. He consulted with his advisor. “Your Majesty can asked the genies to help built the temples,” said the advisor.
So, Bandung Bondowoso summoned his entire genies soldier and commanded them to help him built a thousand temples. The genies worked in unbelievable speed. Meanwhile, Loro Jonggrang heard from her servant that the building of a thousand temples was almost finished. She was so worried. But again, she came up with a great idea. She asked all of her servants to help her. “Please prepare a lot of straw and mortar. Please hurry up!” said Loro Jonggrang. “Burn the straw and make some noise pounding the mortar, quickly.” All those servants did what Loro Jonggrang ordered them; burning straw and pounding the mortar, making the genies think that the sun is going to rise.
“It’s already dawn. We have to go,” said the leader of the genies to Bandung Bondowoso. All the genies immediately stopped their work and ran for cover from the sun, which they afraid of. They didn’t know that the light was from the fire that burning the straw, not from the sun.
Bandung Bondowoso can’t stop the genies from leaving. He was angry. He knew Loro Jonggrang had just tricked him. “You cannot fool me, Loro Jonggrang. I already have 999 temples. I just need one more temple. Now, I will make you the one-thousandth temple.” He pointed his finger to Loro Jonggrang and said some mantras. Magically, Loro Jonggrang’s body turned into stone. Until now, the temple is still standing in Prambanan area, Central Java. And the temple is called Loro Jonggrang temple.

Take a bowl and pour in about two tablespoons of rice wine vinegar. Add in a pinch of sugar and salt and stir until it dissolves.
Pour the mixture onto the rice and mix thoroughly by "slicing" the rice.
Place the seaweed layer on a bamboo mat and then spread rice onto the seaweed.
Roll the bamboo into a long roll by first folding the bottom third in then roll it up.
Cut down the middle of the roll, take each half and place them parallel to each other.

A pinch of salt.
STEPS
Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat until creamy. Add in the dry ingredients (including baking soda if using self-rising flour). Do not stir mixture at this point!
Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl about a minute.
Add the butter and milk to the mix. Stir gently, leaving some small clumps of dry ingredients in the batter. Do not blend until completely smooth.
Heat the frying pan to a medium low flame.
Sprinkle a few flecks of water onto your pan. If it 'dances', or jumps from the pan with a sizzle, the pan is ready for the batter.
Pour about 3 tablespoons to 1/4 cup batter from the tip of a large spoon onto the hot griddle or greased frying pan.
Cook for about two minutes or until the pancake is golden.
Cook the other side until golden and remove.
Finally, serve it and enjoy!

6. Pour the tempered egg-sugar mixture into the milk: Slowly pour the tempered egg-sugar mixture into the saucepan with the remaining milk.
7. Cook the ice cream base until thickened: Return the saucepan to the stove and place over low heat. Stir the mixture slowly, but constantly, scraping the bottom and sides of the pot. Keep cooking until the base has thickened enough to coat the back of the spatula and registers 170°F with an instant-read thermometer.
8. Strain the ice cream base into the bowl of the ice water bath. Straining will remove the vanilla pod and any bits of egg that may have accidentally curdled.
9. Stir the heavy cream into the ice cream base.
10. Chill completely: Leave the ice cream base over the ice water bath, stirring occasionally, until it’s completely chilled. This will take about twenty minutes. Alternatively, cover the bowl with the base and chill in the fridge for three hours or overnight.
11. Churn the ice cream base: Transfer the ice cream base to the bowl of your ice cream machine. Churn until the base has thickened to a consistency somewhere between a very thick milkshake and soft-serve ice cream. In most ice cream makers, this takes about twenty minutes — check the instructions for your particular machine.
12. Freeze the ice cream until solid: Transfer the thickened ice cream to a freezer container. Press a piece of wax paper against the surface of the ice cream to prevent ice crystals from forming and freeze until solid, at least four hours. The ice cream will keep in the freezer for about two weeks before becoming icy.

1 vanilla pudding cup
1/2 cup butter
Steps
thaw the frozen strawberries in one cup of powder sugar.
beat butter and sugar together until creamy In the separate bowl
Add in the eggs one at a time and then finely pour in the vanilla pudding.
Add the thawed strawberries.
Stir in the baking powder and the flour to the mixture and mix well.
If the batter is thick, add in the milk so that the batter gets a little smooth.
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celcius.
Grease and flaw a 9X9 inch pan.
Pour the prepared batter into the 9X9 inch pan and bake for 35 untill 45 minutes till a knife inserted into the centre of the cake and comes out clean.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups Flour
1 whole cut-up Chicken
3 teaspoons Salt
1 ½ to 2 cups Canola Oil (depending on the skillet size)
1 tablespoon Ground Black Pepper
Directions:
Rinse the pieces of chicken and put them on a large plate.
Sprinkle the pepper and salt on each side of the chicken. Add the flour to a shallow bowl and dredge a piece of the chicken in flour. coat the chicken in flour on all sides. Set aside for some minutes.
Heat a large skillet on medium heat and add the oil. Sprinkle a tiny bit of the flour in the oil and if it sizzles add the pieces of flour-coated chicken to the oil.
Continue to dredge as many pieces of chicken in the flour that will fit in the skillet. Depending on the size of your skillet
Using a cooking or carving fork, turn the chicken regularly as it turns a golden color. Try to poke the fork into the outside edges of the skin when turning the chicken rather than in the middle of the meat (so the juices don’t run out). When turning the chicken, a cooking fork tends to keep the crispy skin looking nicer than when using tongs.
Keep an eye on the chicken to see if it’s turning a dark brown color (rather than a golden color) or cooking too quickly. If so, turn the heat down just a bit. Lay a small cooling rack over a large plate and set aside for a moment.
Continue to let the chicken cook until all sides are a medium to dark golden color. As the pieces of chicken are done cooking, remove them from the skillet and lay them on top of the cooling rack.
Your fried chicken is ready to be served

Steps :

Vacation to London
ReplyDeleteMr. Richard’s family was on vacation. They are Mr. and Mrs. Richard with two sons. They went to London. They saw their travel agent and booked their tickets. They went to the British Embassy to get visas to enter Britain. They had booked fourteen days tour. This includes travel and accommodation. They also included tours around London
They boarded a large Boeing flight. The flight was nearly fourteen hours. On the plane the cabin crews were very friendly. They gave them news paper and magazine to read. They gave them food and drink. There was a film for their entertainment. They had a very pleasant flight. They slept part of the way.
On arrival at Heathrow Airport, they had to go to Customs and Immigration. The officers were pleasant. They checked the document carefully but their manners were very polite. Mr. Richard and his family collected their bags and went to London Welcome Desk. They arranged the transfer to a hotel.
The hotel was a well-known four-star hotel. The room had perfect view of the park. The room had its own bathroom and toilet. Instead of keys for the room, they inserted a key-card to open the door. On the third floor, there was a restaurant serving Asian and European food. They had variety of food.
The two week in London went by fast. At the end of the 14-day, they were quite tired but they felt very happy.
Between Recount and Narrative
ReplyDeleteSomething which happened in the past is the main resource to compose both recount and narrative text. In writer’s point of view, the thing is an experience. It can be what the writer has done, hear, read, and felt. Composing recount and narrative is retelling the experiences of the past event to be a present event.
What does recount differ from narrative?
The easiest way to catch the difference is analyzing the generic structure. Recount text presents the past experiences in order of time or place; what happened on Sunday, then on Monday, the on Tuesday. In simple way, recount describes series of events in detail. It does not expose the struggle on how to make them happen. The event happened smoothly. On the other hand, narrative introduces crises and how to solve them. Narrative text always appear as a hard potrait of participant’s past experience. It reveals the conflict among the participants. Cinderella’s conflicts with her step mother and sister are the example. The conflict is the most important element in a narrative text. Narrative without comflicts is not narrative any more.
Visiting Bali
ReplyDeleteThere were so many places to see in Bali that my friend decided to join the tours to see as much as possible. My friend stayed in Kuta on arrival. He spent the first three days swimming and surfing on Kuta beach. He visited some tour agents and selected two tours. The first one was to Singaraja, the second was to Ubud.
On the day of the tour, he was ready. My friend and his group drove on through mountains. Singaraja is a city of about 90 thousands people. It is a busy but quiet town. The street are lined with trees and there are many old Dutch houses. Then they returned very late in the evening to Kuta.
The second tour to Ubud was a very different tour. It was not to see the scenery but to see the art and the craft of the island. The first stop was at Batubulan, a center of stone sculpture. There my friend watched young boys were carving away at big blocks of stone. The next stop was Celuk, a center for silversmiths and goldensmiths. After that he stopped a little while for lunch at Sukawati and on to mass. Mass is a tourist center
My friend ten-day-stay ended very quickly beside his two tour, all his day was spent on the beach. He went sailing or surfboarding every day. He was quiet satisfied.
My Horrible Experience
ReplyDeleteLet me remind you my experience during an earthquake last week. When the earthquake happened, I was on my car. I was driving home from my vocation to Bali.
Suddenly my car lunched to one side, to the left. I thought I got flat tire. I did not know that it was an earthquake. I knew it was an earthquake when I saw some telephone and electricity poles falling down to the ground, like matchsticks.
Then I saw a lot of rocks tumbling across the road. I was trapped by the rock. Even I could not move my car at all. There were rocks everywhere. There was nothing I could do but left the car and walked along way to my house, in the town.
When I reached my town, I was so surprised that there was almost nothing left. The earthquake made a lot of damage to my town. Although nothing was left, I thanked God that nobody was seriously injured.
Kissed by The Dolphin

I entered the gate with full of joy. I took a seat in the first line of the show. The instructor of the dolphin was calling some volunteer to come forward. I raised my hand and got called by him. He told the dolphin to kiss me on my cheek. The dolphin did as he told. I was kissed by the cute dolphin.

She tried to move all of the motorcycles, so that her motorcycle could move from the garage. But she couldn’t do it.
Then, she called Adel who had that motorcycle which blocked it up. After that, her friend who had that motorcycle helped her. Finally, she could move her motorcycle and rode it to go to campus.

Holiday in Semirang Waterfall

On Sunday, I and my best friend, Sari, visited Semirang Waterfall in Ungaran. It was the first time for me to visit the waterfall.
When we arrived at the hill, I felt so fresh and I could enjoy the scene. The air was so pure and all I could see only green and green.
In Ungaran, we took a little bit trekking to find Semirang Waterfall. It was too bad for me because the distance to see the waterfall was too far.
After taking so far distance, we found Semirang Waterfall. What a beautiful waterfall. We enjoyed the nice water in the rain forest surrounding the waterfall.
Hearing the sound of falling water made me peace and relax. It was also excellent drowning out background sound. Playing with the water made me feel so happy.
Finally, the time was over. It was time for us to go home. It was an unforgettable moment. I really enjoyed it.

MY VACATION WITH MY BELOVED PERSONS

One day, my sister said to me that she really wanted to go to the beach. So I promised her that the next day we would go to Maron beach in Semarang.
The next day, we prepared many things in the morning. We brought some foods and beverages, such as fried rice, chocolate wafers, potato chips, water and orange juice. Before going to the beach, I ask my boyfriend, Kiki, to join us going to the beach. He agreed to join and he came to my house. After that, we went to the beach. We went there by motorbike. It took 25 minutes to arrive there. Then, we bought tickets in the entrance gate. Before swimming, we changed our clothes first. We swam there for more than one hour. We felt so tired that we decided to eat the foods that we had brought. Next, my boyfriend and I created a very big sand castle, while my sister continued swimming. After that, we decided to go home because it was getting dark.
On the way home, we still felt hungry. So we stopped at a Javanese restaurant to eat something. I ordered gudeg, while my boyfriend and my sister ordered rames rice. After finished eating, we paid our bills. Then, we went home. We arrived at home at 6 o’clock and we were absolutely exhausted.
That was a very exhausting day, but I felt so happy that I could have a vacation with my sister and my boyfriend.
THE FLOOD

One Christmas in 2007, I was joining a final test try out at school. It was held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. One of my schoolmates, Rini, asked me for accompanying her to the bus stop. When we arrived there, suddenly the heavy rain fell down from the sky. Rini suggested me to go home soon while she was entering the bus.
It was still raining when I was home. The rain did not stop and became bigger when the night had come. People were standing in front of their house, hoping that the flood would not come. In the middle of the night, I got news that South Purwodadi had been drowned.
The next day, Purwodadi had become a flood area. All activities were paralyzed. No one went for work or school because the land had been covered by flood. However, I thank God for not allowing the flood entered my house. Even my house had been changed into an emergency kitchen. It was so crowded there. I and my father took a walk around the center market and Central Purwodadi. All that we could see was water and water. At night, the flood looked like a beautiful ocean with the moonlight on it. I felt as if I was one of the passengers of Titanic who was sailing on the sea.
Finally, the flood was starting to decrease in the next morning. I and my family cleaned our front yard together. That was the greatest flood that I had ever experienced in my hometown.

On April 16th, 2010, I thought this would be a great holiday for me because that was the holy day for Hindhu people . I was so tired about the study, so I guessed this time I could get full refresh anyway. However, the fact said the other way.
First like an ordinary daughter, I had to get up early morning helping my mother, of course after I prayed. Then I did my chores, cleaned up my room, and spread out my bed under the sun ray. I was really in danger if my mom knew that my room was messy. So, I made it as soon as possible. Second, my aunts called me in the afternoon. I did not meet them for a long time, that was the way I kept for hours to talk with them. After that, unpredictable my neighbor visited me. She asked my help finishing her homework. At last, the time was running and I just remembered that I had a lot of homework. I got mad, confused and regretful why I did not check my homework before. Therefore, I did my homework until 2:00 a.m. the next morning.

Last sunday, there was Thomas cup badminton championship between Indonesa and China. It was held on Istora Gelora Bung Karno. I went to Istora Gelora Bung Karno with my Brother, Andi.
Events:
Before entering Istora Gelora Bung Karno, we looked the bus that took Indonesian badminton team players. I saw taufik Hidayat, Muhammad Ahsan, Hendra Setiawan, Hayom Rumbaka, Angga Pratama, Rian Agung, Simon Santoso, Sony Dwi Kuncoro and the other Indonesian badminton players in that bus. They were very handsome. Then, we followed that bus to main-entrance. I found that Taufik Hidayat left from the bus. When we wanted to get close to Taufik Hidayat, a security guard held me back. But, I thought that security guard was familiar because He was my old friend when I was senior high school, he was Andre. After that, he let me in, finally i could meet Taufik Hidayat and got his signature.

Then, I went back to my seat at the Istora stadium to support Indonesian team. The supporter was very crowded. They shouted “IN-DO-NE-SI-A” during the match.

I persuaded my oldest brother to teach me to drive the car.But, my brother refused my request. He promised that he would teach me to drive the car about three or four years later, but I still whimpered. Finally, my brother accepted my request and he wanted to teach me to drive a car.Three days later, my brother and i went to the field to teach me how to drive a car. My brother was very patient to give me some directions. I was very nervous because that was my first time to drive a car . One week later, my family visited my grandmother in Bandung, about 4 hours from my home. Because that, I was alone at home. So, I had a opportunity to drive a car alone. I drove about 6 km but after that I got nervous and I lost my control because the street was narrow and I crashed the wall.After that I called my brother by phone to tell him about the accident. I imagined my brother would be angry. But the reality was exactly on the contrary, my brother was not angry. He just gave me some advices and since that accident, I promised I would always ask my brothre’s permission to drive him car.

Study Tour To Bogor and Bandung
ReplyDeleteI went to bogor with my teachers and my friends. It was a study tour actually. Study tour was held when I was junior high school. That was my first time I went to Puncak, Bogor. My teacher, my class friends, and I were in the same bus. We left our school at 10 p.m. trip to Puncak from Cirebon was about 7 hous.After 7 hours on the way, finally we arrived in Bogor. It was about 5.00 Am. We stopped in a mosque to pray first. Some of my friends took a bath in the mosque. But, I just brushed my teeth and washed my face because there was was so cold. It made me lazy to touch the water.After that, we went to a restaurant to have a breakfast. I was so hungry. Then, we went to Taman safari Bogor. We saw animal collection there. The animal collection was very complete. In taman safari, every Sunday there was an animal circus and fortunately we visited Taman safari on Sunday. So, we could watch the animal circus there. The animal circus was very funny and made us entertained. After watched the animal circus we went back to the bus and we we went to the villa to take a rest. In villa I and my friends swam together. In the next day, we left bogor to visit Bandung. The journey from Bogor to Bandung was abut 3 hours. Actually, it was a funny journey because I spent all of my time with my friends, like playing games, laughing, and kidding. But I felt that all of my tiredness gone all of sudden when we arrived at bandung. In Bandung, we visited Cihampelas. Cihampelas was a very busy street. There were so many factory outlet there. We used that moment to buy some clothes and souvenirs there. After From Cihampelas. We went home to our city. Study tour made me very tired, but I was very happy because I could spend many time with my friends.
Went Camping
ReplyDeleteLast sunday, my friends and I went camping on the mountain. We went to Palutungan, Kuningan. The spot was near from our town. It was about one hour to get there. We choose Palutungan because it was not too far from our home.
We prepared everything before went to Palutungan. We brought cooking utensils and the food from home, clothes, camera, guitar, etc. We went there by motorcycles.
On the first day, we sat up the tent on the camping area. The air was so fresh there. We took a bath on the waterfall. The waterfall was called curug Putri. After played at waterfall, we felt hungry. Then, we cooked the food for the lunch and had lunch together. The first night of our camping, the air was so cold, we made a campfire, sang songs together and after we slept. We used sleeping bag when we slept to make our body still in warm condition.
On the second day, we had some activities. We, tried to go fishing in the river near the waterfall but we got a shoe. After that, we packed everything we bought. we cleaned the area
We made a memory by taking photos together in front of a waterfall and then went home happily. We felt very tired.

But I was not lucky enough because on the way home I saw a beggar. He was an old poor beggar.
I gave all of my fish to him and I wish he would be happy getting that fish. Perhaps he could sell them at the market and get some money to buy some food.

Last year holiday of Lebaran I went to Surabaya visiting my grandmother and grandfather.
I had to go there because the previous holiday I wasn’t there.
Event
I missed them so much because I lived with them when I was a child.
At that time both of my parents had to go to another city to earn money so they left me with my grandma and grandpa.
After graduated from junior high school, I follow my parents living at Jakarta. Since that, I had visited them only at holiday time.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have any ticket of either train and plane so that I went to Surabaya by bus. It was so tiring because the traffic was too crowded and stagnant.
Normally, the trip needs around 24-28 hours but my trip at that time took 40 hours from Jakarta to Surabaya. That made me mad.
Reorientation
The madness and tiredness during the trip had gone after I met my grandma and grandpa. They were looked old. I was so happy knowing them in healthy condition.
Recount Text Holiday - Yogyakarta

That day was August 23, 2016. A week before that day I had been preparing everything. Then, at that day i was ready for my holiday.
At 9 in the morning, I went to the station. The train would arrive at 10 a.m. It took 30 minutes walking from my home to the station. At that station, I bought the ticket to go to Yogyakarta.
Event
It took around 5 hour to go to Yogyakarta from Tulungagung by train.
I arrived in Tugu Station Yogyakarta at 3.15 pm. I had no fix idea about the places at which I would visit. So, I was free to do anything in this city.
At first, I went walking around at Malioboro Street. I saw so many people in this street. Perhaps, they did the same thing as I did, just walking and sometimes stopped at some street marchandise sellers a long that road.
At 6 p.m, i was tired and hungry. I was at Alun-Alun Kidul, the south side of Yogyakarta Palace.
I looked around and find Angkringan, at that place I ordered for a glass of ice tea and ate some Sego Kucing with Sate and also Gorengan.
After eating, I began to think of where I would get the cheap hotel to stay for several days in Yogyakarta.

The last holiday i went to my grandma’s home.
Her home is quite awesome, so far away from the city and close to the vegetables farm area. My grandma and grandpa are farmers.
I spent two days there and I did so many interesting things in the farm, helping my grandpa planted vegetables.
Event
At the first day, I learned to plant spinach. What I did was moving out the young spinach from the seeding area to the plantation area.
I thought it was easy, but in fact, it was tiring. I had to move those one by one under the sun. I did that for several hours before launch and continued until afternoon.
In the night, i didn’t want anything except sleeping. I was really tired but it was fun.
I couldn’t wake up in the morning until my grandma knocked at my door. He laughed at me because what I did was not hard actually if compared with the real farmer.
Then, before we went to the farm again, my grandma had prepared for breakfast. After eating I follow my grandpa going to the next field.
We would do daily treatment for the 1 month age spinach. We had to give them enough water and checked if there were any caterpillars and grasshoppers.
Reorientation
At the third day, I had to back home. I was sad to leave my grandma and grandpa. But, that’s fine because the next holiday I would go there and see them again.
